I have one child who attended DRSS for grades 9-12 and he graduated; my daughter is now a 7th grader there and we will be applying for my youngest to attend next year. Preparing your child for the "Real world" is accurate -- my son was ready for college and was ahead of his peers when it came to project-based learning, digital platforms, and overall intersectional and collaborative planning, work, and execution of assignments in a way similar to what a professional adult in the education/workforce would typically be able to do. The faculty is incredibly committed to fostering an environment of acceptance, inclusivity, diversity, and innovation, and sending my children to school there was one of the best things I could do for their education and social development.

Absolutely stellar!! As a parent I communicate with teachers and administrators as needed. Timely responses are the norm. School really does partner with parents and total involvement is welcomed.

This school has helped me learn way better. We do more hands-on activities, and team projects. At first, I was forced to apply, but now that I'm a student there, I'm glad I did!
