They send home packets that seem to be all the work they should be doing in class and leave it up to the parents to teach

The are young and lazy and much rather be on their cell phones then to deal with the children or the problems the children have

They have a major issue with student violence and rather than dealing with the problem they tell the student to tell the student that is being violent to stop. The violence is so bad they have had to send home letters saying that if your student is caught being violent towards another student they will be immediately suspended. It

Horrible, multiple times my child has been in situations where another child has been violent to him. Both the principal and the superintendent are rude and condiscending.It seems like the school staff and those who are above them are all good friends or grew up together to it is completely pointless to try to get anything done, it would be much easier and probably better for you just to get an emergency transfer and move your child to a different School. The superintendent will be more then happy to do that for you it's much easier for him to do that then to deal with the issues his teacher and principal won't deal with, and again they all seem to be friends so he will just act like they do nothing wrong.

Thumbs Down. My son is special needs. He is supposedly in the 11th grade, he is stuck in one hidden away classroom with their own toilet, sink and refrigerator so the special needs children don't even have to go out of this room to use the cafeteria, restrooms. Or change classes My son is 16 years old and in a classroom with 4 year olds, never integrated with children his own age or normal children. He is Supposed to be in the High School at least for home room, but despite our complaints and federal Law not happening, His Neurologist, Pediatrician and Primary care doctors write letters and requests for to the school stating our son needs to be provided one to one aid for health, sanitation and safety reasons, these requests are not even considered. Even a complaint to the Oklahoma State Department of Education, Special Education Services 405-521-4863 giving the school till 01 September 2014 to get in compliance, is ignored. The post is 100% correct you need to be a good ole boy to get anything in this town. For those that are wondering, our son has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a severe type of epilepsy with severe learning disability and autistic tendencies.

This school is in a small town and that is just it! You have to be in their "click" to be treated fairly and to have any say about your children. They stick children who are not in their "clicks", in refrigerator boxes, in the middle of the classrooms! The people on the board are the same ones that run it, so therefore, you cannot even complain without taking it way above their heads. Horrible!!
