St. Andrews is truly a gem. We couldnt be happier to have found such an outstanding school for our children. What sets it apart is its ability to support a wide range of learning needsone of our children is highly gifted, and the other is also highly gifted but has dyslexia. Both are thriving.
The school community is warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive. The IB program is rigorous and well-structured, challenging our children academically while fostering critical thinking and global awareness. Were especially impressed by the arts and performance programs, which are vibrant and inspiring.
Most importantly, our children come home happy every dayexcited about what theyre learning and engaged in their school life. We are so grateful to be part of the St. Andrews community. Truly a wonderful school.

We are extremely disappointed in St. Andrew's and wish we never sent our son to this school. They sold us a bill of goods that they could not deliver on and the experience has been traumatizing for our family. They did not have the quality of learning support that we paid for, and socially it is a very clique-y school. They admitted him with full knowledge of his learning issues and then did not allow him to attend for these very same issues. We wasted a great deal of money on this school,

Bullying is a problem in middle school. The administration doesnt deal with it well. The school counselor isnt a certified councilor. The organizational structure is odd. Councilor reports into admissions director?

We are so thankful for this school! It has been a game changing for our son who needed more support. He loves his teachers and the thoughtful approach the school has to after school clubs and sports. Meals included is pretty great too! As a parent, the only bad thing I can say is that it is an investment and the schedule can be challenging to accommodate as long breaks for the high school boarding students.

The middle school is remarkably thoughtful about homework. Teachers post assignments online AND make sure they are written down in their planners. Students often have time in the day or after school to finish and ask for help if need it.

Most of the teachers are incredibly thoughtful and empathetic.

Volunteering is worked into the middle school and required by high school students. They spend a lot of time encouraging thoughtful interactions--not perfect but they really try to encourage students to think of others.

While the school does not solely have students with learning differences, there are a number (especially in the middle school where my son is). They work support into each class and, if need be, pull out students with private tutors (for an added fee).

Kids can be less than kind on occasion, but it is usually handled quickly.

This is a lovely, small school where children are really valued and understood. The small class size allows a kind of attention that is impossible almost anywhere else. The teachers are kind (really, really kind.) They work very hard. The discipline is thoughtful and creative and there is a real focus on community. I can't say enough about this warm school and its wonderful faculty and administrators.
