Absolutely terrible. Never had a worse experience with any school. Mine included. Student behavior is appalling and administration does little to nothing to ensure children are safe. Office staff are rude. Ratios are an absolute joke. Kindergarten classes with 28-30 children. Ridiculous. I have literally never even seen my child’s class. If you come in late they make you surrender your child to wander the hall unescorted to a classroom. I attempted to walk my child to his class and was YELLED at. This whole school is questionable to say the least. They do their best to eradicate any individuality in the student population. They leave no room for creative hands-on learning. They rely on rote memorization. They do not encourage acceptance and the environment is not conducive to self-confindent children. This does not foster imagination , curiosity, or a love for learning. The children skew towards I’ll-behaved to say the least. Never seen so many families yelling, yanking and hitting their children during morning drop offs. Absolute the worst of everything is present here. Stay away. Not to mention not even the teachers like the school. At least half quit every year have known multiple people who have worked at one of their location and have nothing but scathing reviews overall.

Children were SPITTING on my 5 year old during his bus ride home and the guilty students admitted to it and WERE NOT SUSPENDED! That is literally considered assault. Had another parent threaten to run my child and I over on the first day because they were angry at where the school told us to park. Administration did nothing. Might as well send your children to public school in the lowest performing district as it would be comparable to what you experience here. My kindergartner comes home EVERYDAY telling me
people make fun of him, pull his hair, push him. Throw his backpack. He told me he got a BLOODY NOSE at recess and I was not called. Had to get the police involved as nothing was done.

Parents - take heed with what I'm about to say:

1. Every year, half the staff quits. Why do you think this is so?
2. Teachers quitting has a negative effect on your children's education.
3. They have high test scores, because all the students who fail are asked to leave - ASKED TO LEAVE - so, there's that.
4. They treat their teachers like garbage (half leave every year. Half. Half).
5. They're a business, and they only care about money.

Great, my great granddaughter goes to ESP2 and loves it and everybody in the school. Izabella M. can't wait to go back to school. Thanks for all you do. This year I would love to be a volunteer. Linda Masse

The structure of the school day is not beneficial for early childhood education. The lack of socialization and play available had a negative effect on our child. The teachers are inexperienced and appeared scripted as opposed to genuine. This school was not a good fit for our family.

I love this school! My grandaughter is in kindergarten and already reading an entire book on her own! Example (The giving tree), that right there says alot for the teachers there! Great job teachers and staff! Singing in Italian, Spanish, and doing sign language soooo impressed, brings tears to my eyes to see her absorb so much! I share little videos of her doing this and people are amazed at her for being only 5. This school knows this is when it is crucial to establish a wide variety of teachings and they will only grow with this knowledge and expand! Its too bad its takes a lotery to get this type of education, it should be mandatory all schools have this type of education/structure and (fresh blood) who are enthusiastic to teach it! We were concerned about the long day, but it's true she adjusted to it fine, she never complains and loves it! So fortunate she was chosen! Proud grammy of Aubrey ! :D Thank You BVP

BVP is amazing, the teacher are exceptional. I couldn't ask for a better school for my children.

Provides a wonderful educational experience for my children. This is the third public school they have attended and it, by far, offers the best educational environment.

There is a lot of focus in RI about NECAP test scores. While BVP Elementary 1 is successful in this regard, it is the additional focus on Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Enthusiasm that strikes a chord with me. These traits are just as important if not more important than high test scores. These are the elements that will stay with an individual for the rest of their lives.

This school is one of the best, the teachers are amazing and the school environment is friendly and inviting. My child is being prepared for a successful future in a fun environment as well as helping her to integrate PRIDE (Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Enthusiasm) values not only in school but in the community as well. I'm so glad my child is a student here.

Excellent teachers!! Excellent leadership team!! Definitely a great place for kids. Beautiful addition to the school made this year.
