A sweet community that serves families well. Joyful students, involved parents, dedicated teachers, administrators, and staff. Highly recommend. As a parent, it meets and exceeds expectations in so many ways.

My child has only attended this school for one year and her mental health has worsened. For the past month Ive noticed a slight change in her behavior and I ask her what is going like what any other concerned parent would ask. Mind you she has been sent to the principals office for more than I can remember and every time I am notified, its always over something extremely dumb. She tells me that she is constantly getting in trouble because of other people and the principal is doing nothing. I truly believe that the principal does not live her life the Christian way or as she preaches (including some of the teachers). This place needs to be shut down and if you are thinking about sending your child here, please reconsider!! Even a public school would be a better option for both you and your childs sake.

We had a 4th grader and a 7th grader at Covenant this year after homeschooling prior! It has been the sweetest year and the teacher's really love teaching! Our kids thrived! The quality of education is really great and the Headmaster really loves what she does and does a great job! We are looking forward to another year next year!

I cant say enough about this school. My son was homeschooled through a virtual school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We wanted to him to learn soft skills like organization and studying. But, even more wanted a Christian environment that would help mold him into a godly young man. We also prayed for friendships and mentoring. So, yes, my expectations were high.
I have not been let down! First and foremost, Christ is first. As a result, behavior isnt an issue and conversations about the Bible are interwoven into all subjects.
The curriculum is rigorous. My son is being well-prepared for college. The tests are never multiple choice and my son has to know the material. An example of the level of course work is the fact that my son, a tenth grader, is taking a hermeneutics class (how to study the Bible) and is getting 3 hours of college credit.
Friendship has also been important. The high schoolers are all friends and enjoy each other in and out of school. It has been wonderful to watch these friendships grow.
In closing, Ill say that I have seen maturity these last two years that I partially contribute to the school environment and mentoring that happens on purpose at this school.

The teachers and other staff members are hypocritical ; the children pick up on this behavior. There is a lot of gossip.

Do not send your children to this school. My child attended for 3 years, and I truly believe the place should be shut down. The academic standards are low. Some teachers are okay, but most teachers are not qualified to teach, especially in the high school. The teachers spend a lot of time gossiping, with each other and with their students. Instead of learning math and science, my child learned a lot about the parents of her friends. Other schools, especially Heathwood and Hammond, will not accept any high school transfer credits from this place. My child is essentially repeating a grade, and she is a great student! They have no drama or music program to speak of, and the facility is run down. My child refused to use the bathroom at school because it was so disgusting.

we have attended CCCS for 8 years, and we are very happy with it. I have often thought of it as a home school environment with the benefits of the socialization of the classroom. As a product of the public school system, I know what I experienced, and did not want this for my children. This school wants to create and foster a desire to not only enter the world and succeed, but to actually make a positive impact/change. I am sorry for the person who say this school is just like the public schools with regard to behavior, becasue she is WRONG. The teachers are dedicated, and go the extra mile for students. From what I have heard, our high school students perform very well on standardized tests.
