Asbury Kindergarten & Preschool

Our daughter has attended Asbury for both Pre-K and Kindergarten. I could not be more pleased with our decision to enroll her. What a relief it is to know she is in a loving, safe, supportive and challenging learning environment every day. The directors, teachers, and staff have made this program exceptional. We are so blessed to have found such a wonderful place. THANK YOU, ASBURY!!!

Asbury has provided my daughter with a loving, supportive, and challenging environment, in which she is gaining the academic foundation she needs. The teachers and director have gone above and beyond in making sure the program is meeting individual goals and expectations. Throughout this past school year, my daughter would wake up excited and eager about the school day ahead. We love Asbury and can't wait for school to start in the Fall.

I am very disappointed in this school and would not recommend it to anyone. They will not work with you or your child if issues come up. Their would rather remove your child from school then try and work with them. Children should not be thrown away or out just because they need extra attention. This school is not for any child that is not submissive.

Enrolling our child in Asbury Preschool and Kindergarten has proven to be one of the best decisions that we have made for our family. Although the cost was a concern in the beginning, it quickly became clear that it was worth every penny and was more reasonably priced than many other programs. At Asbury, one will find the perfect balance between the focus on academics and social development. Students in Asbury s kindergarten program are exposed to the new Common Core State Standards, which will not be fully implemented in Richland County School District One until the 2014-2015 school -year. As a teacher in RCSD1, I know the importance of this transition and how critical it will be for our students to be prepared for these new standards. Although academics are a priority at Asbury, the social growth and development of every child is an area in which they excel. Overall, we believe that Asbury is an amazing place that offers a variety of diverse opportunities for students to experience; from family activities to carnivals and field trips to hands-on experiences in the classroom, Asbury is a remarkable place!

We love this school. We moved here late in the summer and I was worried I wouldn't be able to enroll him in preschool. This preschool was the only one close by that wasn't full. I took a tour and spoke with the director. She didn't really emphasize the curriculum. I asked her the difference between this school and daycare she said "I don't know, I've never worked in a daycare" feeling very apprehensive we were just enrolling him in a glorified daycare, we agreed, and signed him up. I am very pleased with how much and how fast he is learning. He is always coming home and telling me new things. They do crafts and drawings a lot, his hand control has gotten much better. He can recognize all his letters, spell his name, and he can write most of his letters. This is only after 4 months of school. He has learned a lot of new song, and made great friends. I love this school and his teachers. They offer after school activities too like dance, soccer, karate, and cooking.
