William Thomas Academy

William Thomas Academy is an EXCELLENT choice for private education (K-12). This school soars above the other more well known private schools in Sumter. The school's motto holds true, "Preparing kids for college before 1st grade"! My child attends this school and she not only gets the best education, but she feels loved and safe. I will recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to excell in academics as well as life! They are developing winners. The school is small due to it's newness and could use some more diversity, but that could be attributed to the lack of advertisement. I think this school could be one of the best in the nation if people would support it. The tuition is extremely reasonable compared to the quality and level of education that your children will receive. We love this school and can't find enough positive things to say about the school staff and education curriculum!
