Very disappointed in this school, the staff and especially the special needs teachers. The special needs teacher and the assistant there are both unfriendly. The vibes just seems off as special needs educators. After the teacher threatened to put my child on lunch detention restricting his lunch because he forgot to charge his chrome book the night before is beyond me. The environment of the school isnt friendly or welcoming. I withdrew my Child from this school without hesitation. The best decision and would not recommend this school moving forward!

well the 7th grade administrator is not very kind she does not seem to care about students well being or feelings, she suspends students unfairly, dishonesty to parents, twisting up stories, and very mean. doesnt seem to care about kids safety or her job, seems to just be in it to get money and get kids in trouble, a lot of students feel this way too also i left 2 other reviews and dont see them i feel like you guys are trying to hide from the truth...

Great small school. Very diverse. Lots of student opportunities. After-school clubs and sports excel.

It has been a learning experience, I believe a situation is what you make of it. My kids adapted to the changes that this school may presented them that they had not been used to in the past. They are better people because of it. Pushed beyond their comfort levels at times only promotes growth as an individual

As parents you have to be involved with your childs life. If you are aware of situations bring it to the schools attention, they can not help if they dont know

It is terrible you have to fall into the community to fit in in any way at all and if you are a white female you are the minority of the school and you have to do the things everyone else is doing just to not bare the pain everyday of no fitting in it is a terrible school in my opinion I would never recommend to send your child there!

Well, in all honesty, any kind of school is bad to me. I mean, we have to get up early in the morning, God knows what could've happened the night before or what is going on in your life, to get worked too hard. Barely getting rights and to get judged by others. No matter how horrible you feel on the inside, emotionally or physically, you have got to have a temperature or to be throwing up in order to go home. We are expected to talk to a counselor that in my opinion doesn't understand at all what you're going through. It's practically a prison for all adolescents and teens. We feel so tortured and you people don't understand the half of it. I hate Busbee. I have never been so stressed out in my life.

is very amazing one of the best teachers in the state that actually care about my education unlike other schools in our district!

I have been a sub in this school and seen first hand the mediocrity of Lexington School district 2 at its finest. From teachers telling principals, "you tell me what i have to do to get this kid sent to "granby", from the dictatorial rules. This school could do so much better.

Great school! This school has great staff that care about all the students. It is a technology school where each student gets to use itouches and iPads! I highly recommend this school!
