More schools need to be able to have reviews given by parents. I would never recommend this school it's fairly a new school and the teachers do not know how to handle a child with severe adhd. When I say do not have your child attend this chool I would definitely not recommend it. All they are worried about is disciplining a child who has a severe learning disability instead of helping them understand material. Punishing a child constantly when they do not know how to learn the material is not the way to go when you're handling a child that has a severe learning disability. More teachers need to know how to deal with children who have ADHD if they don't know how to teach children with that disability they should not be teaching children with it

This school the worst of LR5. The teacher doesn't care for the student and her behaviors is rude and nasty. The staff is not friendly that all. The nurse doesn't have the appropriate skills and knowledge . The principal and assistant principal doesn't do nothing about student issues in timer manner. The social worker sent the parents to the DSS for no real reason. I'm glad we changed my child to other school. I recommend each parent check your child discipline record frequently because this school and district use inappropriate criminal vocabulary in his school discipline code as harassment,phisical assault and others. Be prepared because the day you meet the teacher, they not turn the air conditioning on and it is super hot and very unorganized. We experience this last year. This district hide a lot of students issues without involved the police. Be careful parents and always made your research and talk with others parents.

My child has had one of the worst years of their life. They have gone from straight As to straight Fs. There is so much homework that my child cannot keep up. We have no way of knowing how to help because parents have zero access to assignments/projects that are due. There is constant bullying that happens. So much so that my child is now in therapy and taking antidepressants. The teachers assign classwork that is essentially homework.

Administration is TERRIBLE. Sided with the BULLY'S family's wishes. Unbelievable. If you can avoid sending your child there if the administration that is there now stays, I would highly recommend.

On a scale of 1-10 for this one this school would actually be in the negatives. YES, it is that bad.

On a scale of 1-10, again, in the negatives. As the other parent commented about Jess Hutchinson, who has sinced moved to another school, I believe, Justin Thomas has certainly NOT been an improvement, possibly worse (I can't compare the 2 fairly since I have no personal experience with Jess Hutchinson). But I would move out of the district if I had to, to prevent any of my other children from going to this school, especially as long as Justin Thomas is principal. He doesn't belong in administration at a middle school. I don't know if it's true but I heard that the first year he was there it was his first year as a principal. Horrible idea to put a first year principal with a school like Crossroads.

The atmosphere and environment is a joke and certainly would not help in developing character. Just read a news article about a student who threatened violence, and while our kids need to learn ways of dealing with their problems otherwise, after the experience my child had there I certain can understand a student reaching that point of not knowing what else to do, especially if they don't have supportive parents.

The homework was fine. I did not have a problem with academics. It was the principal, the teacher, and the strange nurse.

THEY DON'T LISTEN TO THEIR STUDENTS. The principal Jess Hutchinson only takes the staff members and teachers side. This is unfair.

My son attended this school in the 6th grade (2014). The education curriculum was good, but the principal Jess Hutchinson do not listen to his students. He rather believed what a nurse would say. Believed it or not, the nurse would make recommendations that my son talk to guidance or even the social worker just because he had to go to the nurse office because he was not feeling well. The nurse was fully aware that my son had reflux. Let me remind you, I also had a problem where the nurse and one of my son's teacher (Bl.......d) They was actually talking about me in an email. The email got sent to me by mistake, and yes I comforted the teacher, and informed the Principal (Jess Hutchinson). Which did not do any good. The school was the worst professionalism I have ever experienced EVER.

I was a student at Crossroads and I loved it! The teachers were nice and funny and the classes taught you a lot. My favorite teachers I couldn't choose because they were all wonderful! My only problem is gym which was extremely tiring and hard but it was good for me since I was chubby. I would suggest if you had to go to a junior middle school, go to Crossroads.

Not a good school. Lunch and teachers are the only upside. Don't like the atmosphere it's really bland.

Due to the actions of a few teachers, we found this school to be an unfriendly learning environment for our child. There were a few wonderful teachers that helped our child get through the year however, certain other teachers should be evaluated for their teacher to student ethics. We raised our concerns but we feel there was no resolution. Our student learned a lot about 'difficult' personalities and strategies to deal with bullying. We are happy we 'survived' the school. We wish our experience had been more positive.

My school year hear was really great. The teachers were nice and helpful, and so was the staff. The only problem I had was with the teams. Its separated me from a lot of my friends from last year, which crushed me. But, other than that, this school is pretty great.

This school is horrible. The staff is so irresponsible. Stay away from it. If it's possible, I would rate as 0 star!!!

My Granddaughter has been there this year and she loved it, The teacher's were good to her. The only thing I have a problem with is the backpack on her back is so heavy. Anyone that is graced with going to school here will love it....

Crossroads Middle School is THE WORST!!! I agree with Ms. Bethel. VERY DISORGANIZED, TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION AMONG STAFF AND WITH PARENTS. The teachers(some of them/not all) have a lack of respect for the children; however, they demand respect. Some of he rules are unrealistic! By far the worst school in the district I've ever encountered. We've been in the school district for 6 years....it's the school....not the kids
