My daughter has had the privilege of attending North Springs Elementary for six wonderful years. The principle is very friendly and a true leader who cares about his students safety and well being. The staff in the office is top notch. They go out of their way to help in any way possible. North Springs has awesome teachers. When my daughter needed help in math, her teachers gave her extra help that truly mad the difference. I will forever be appreciative for all their efforts in my daughter's education. I would like to thank Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. Washington and Mrs. Dial for being such great teachers. They are very caring and go the extra mile that is so unexpected. They really are the best teachers. I'm really going to miss this school.

I have had good experiences as well as bad experiences while my daughter has attended this school. Overall, I feel it is a decent school for the area. Unfortunately, the school has a pretty bad bullying problem, and I'm not confident that the staff addresses these problems properly. I do have to give special recognition to Mrs. Stephanie Kelley who taught my daughter in the 4th grade during the 2013-2014 school year. she went above and beyond to help my daughter with many aspects of school. I feel very strongly that Mrs. Kelley genuinely loves her students, and wants to see them do their very best. She also does a fantastic job at keeping the parents informed. If your child is lucky enough to have her for a teacher, I am sure you would agree. sadly, this is not true for all teachers that I have dealt with in my daughter's time at the school. Next year will be my daughters final year at North springs, and then we are planning to leave the area for her middle school career.

Since my daughter attended this school for the past two years she is reading above her grade level and doing exceptional well in her other studies.

My daughter went here 2-5 grade. Now my son attends school from K. Now in 1st grade. I am a parent who watches kids in and out the school. Very mature teachers, beautiful learning atmosphere and open door policy school. This school is welcoming and warm feels safe to send my kids here. Very satisfied with the school and teaching both curricular and extracurricular. Highly recommend.

North Springs elementary has done quite a bit of damage to my daughters self esteem after only 2 years. The majority of students at this school are African American, and my child (Caucasian), experienced terrible racial segregation while attending this school along with countless acts of bullying. . It is hard to explain to such a young child why people are picking on her because of the color of her skin. She began to fear going to school, became nervous and depressed, and often came home in tears due to the negative atmosphere she had to endure. The staff did very little...even after numerous concerns were brought to their attention. They actually seemed to brush it off. Needless to say, we pulled our daughter out of the school after we had finally had enough and will NEVER look back!! This particular school goes much deeper then the average school teasing scenario. It will take years to erase the damage done to her here. If you fall into the minority category for this school, I urge you to look elsewhere for their education. It is really sad that any type of racism still exists in 2013. In a nutshell, North springs elementary was a huge disappointment!

My child must have went to a different school from the other reviewers. While she had very positive results from the IEP program, everything else was lacking. Communication breakdowns were a constant thing between the teachers and myself and bullying was apparently out of control. It got so bad that I complained to the district, which also did nothing. They did not even respond to my emails. I moved during the summer to get her away from my school. She went from outgoing and friendly to withdrawn and sad in the course of a school year. A safe envoriment is important. NEVER AGAIN North Springs!
