The STEM program here is wonderful. Karen Wagner HS has also been distributing food and chromebooks during these trying times.

This school is in transition to becoming a solid STEM school in the area. As a STEM 10th grader (class 2021), my son is learning the material well.

I can only speak into what I have seen in my son - he has a teacher that has noticed he excels in class, and is encouraging him to help another student who is struggling with concepts. I love that. It helps him respect himself, other students, and the encouraging teacher.

As this school transitions from a school known to have problems to a solid STEM magnet school, leadership is encouraging students and staff to be excellent. For that, I give it high marks. As a parent trying to deal with administration, the school feels cold and indifferent. That difficulty brings my score down.

This school has policies in place that control the student population during school hours. I would consider them to be effective. Before and after school, outside the buildings, do not seem to be monitored.

I am class of 2010 at Wagner High and now an employee at Wagner HS. I have grown within this district and have seen how much pride this school has always had. I am proud to have graduated from this school. This school does well academically and in sports. As long as you surround yourself among good people your high school years will be fun, fast, and easy. At no point have I ever felt threatened at this school.

I graduated from Wagner in 2010 and I have to say that I take pride in that. Coming from an athletic and AP stand point, Wagner has prepared me for my future. There are plenty of Wagner graduates that have become very successful do to what they have learned from school. Yes it has its ups and downs but so does every school. The staff at Wagner really care for you and want you to be the best that you can be. I am now going to be a senior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in chemical engineering. I've had varies leadership roles in organizations, did research, gone to engineering conferences, and had summer internships. I believe non of this would have been possible if it were not for God and my high school Karen Wagner!!!

im a senior at wgner and i have to say. that wagner has it drowns but there are so many good there are clubs and a great band yea we got second at state and a good football and batsketball team the teachers are alsome and the student are nice i say wagner is one of the best school i have been to .

My son is graduating from Wagner this year. I have to agree with some of the students that say that all schools have issues. Each year Wagner is making progress!! In the near future Wagner could become a great school! Keep the faith and give this school a fair rating and chance. By the way, I love the principal, Milton Fields. He's doing an excellent job with students that don't follow the rules! Also, why is the option only a maximum of 5 stars, but the rating system is from 1 to 10?

Im currently a junior at wagner and I love it. Yeah it has its problems but every school does. Teachers go above and beyond for the students. The students can be childish but not everybody is like that. There are students who care about where they are going in life. Fights happen they are just kids and get mad over stupid stuff but the staff ends it as quick as possible. They try their best to help us. Im an army brat and have been to many schools and I love wagner. - bekah
