Horrible!!!! I pulled my son out and transferred him to a private school.
Posted: October 4, 2019
I didn't even know when my child had homework let alone finding out that he didn't do it. Strong lack of communication.
Posted: October 4, 2019
The teachers are very good and my son enjoyed being in the classroom.

It teaches them more how to lie so they don't get in trouble. The council was really good in delivering character teaching but the principle and vice principle are wiping out her efforts.
Posted: October 4, 2019
That vice principle and her lack of showing any empathy or understanding of children. How is she even allowed to work with children? kids do mistakes and that's how they LEARN!!! The screaming and the piercing look from her eyes made me as a parent very upset. How would a little child is supposed to feel? Kids learn by pointing out the incorrect action, why it is wrong/how it affects others then how can they better handle a situation.

When my son was bullied and reacted to the bullying in the way he thought will protect him, he was punished for standing up for himself. They have not put the effort to investigate and find out why he acted that way or try to remedy the situation in a way that is fair to all involved.

Our four children have had a positive experience at the school. The teachers and staff go out of their way to build a caring environment that teaches to the individual child and their strengths. The culture is inclusive and focuses on the whole child building a foundation of academics, character and healthy living. The sense of community and parent involvement makes this school very special. Also, I've felt confident that my children are prepared for the rigor of middle and high school.

I am very pleased with the support my son has received. He has struggled academically at times. His teachers have gone above and beyond to work with him. I am thankful to the teachers we've had at Robinson Elementary.

We love Robinson! It has a nurturing climate that gets my kids excited about learning. The teachers truly care and the staff is welcoming and friendly. It is one of the smallest elementary schools in the district, which I think helps make it really feel like family. My kids are thriving there.

I have nothing but great things to say about Robinson Elem. and the staff. The teachers have always been attentive to my children's needs. They have offering tutoring if needed and keep me informed of what we can work on at home. I feel Robinson Elem. has taken all measures to make sure the children have a safe environment to focus on learning. I had considered private school when my oldest child started Kindergarten but I am glad I gave Robinson Elem. a chance.

The teachers do a great job using student agendas in grades 3-5, which is a tremendous help for homework follow up!

the teachers work together as a unit and are always helping each other!

They continue to work in character education even after winning the award. It's a genuine part of everyday

Great communication from the school at all times. Great at sending reminders using various forms of communication.

Robinson has a great school climate and the staff there is like a family. Many of the teachers use very education forward techniques in their classrooms to help all students learn. You can genuinely feel and see how much the teachers and staff at Robinson care for the students and each other.

I've been at this school for many years and I'm sad to say that it has gone down. It might be efficient but the office staff are NOT warm. Claudia the front desk person is terribly rude. The principal is all about "school if character" and zero fun. No pep rallies, no outside the box thinking, it's a mess. I've served on the board for years and me + two of my other board member friends are considering private school. They do NOT encourage parental involvement and the place is practically on lockdown. So sad because there are some good teachers there.

The administrative staff is terrible. I have a child with a learning disability and the school would not help to develop my child's learning skills. I had to personally contact the district to get the staff's attention. This past year has been a terrible experience and I couldn't be more disappeared. The front desk is rude and very unprofessional. Claudia even let out a curse word while frustrated. This school is a disgrace to the CCISD!! Principal Jones was the only person that took action to my child's needs, but it took weeks and my own research through the district. The Vice Principal Stacy Brazzel was rude and unwilling to be of any assistance when my child was denied tutorials because the teacher believed "it wouldn't help my little one learn to read." CCISD is a great district when considering the other districts around, however, this school is terrible! We will go somewhere else ASAP.

Robinson Elm. Has the worst principal I have ever come across. They have no fun activities for student involvement. Staff is rude!

Great school! Sweet, caring teachers. Nice families. Very nice Principal. All in a super school district. Anyone complaining has never been in an ACTUAL crazy school district (HISD). We are SO happy to be here!!! :D

My child attended 1 1/2 years before the school decided to tell me that they had over looked our address and that my child is enrolled in the wrong school. They didn't even give me time to collect his items before unenrolling him literally 2 days into the Christmas break. We just received a letter saying he is zoned for another school so his is denied an inter transfer and unenrolled at Robinson. Terrible organization in my oppinion.

A problem, not so much with the school as with the entire district, is that parents have very limited access to their children during school time, much less availability for participation in school activities. This is my first child's second year here, and my second child's first year here. I think it is important to be involved in your child's education, and it is unfair that we are not allowed this opportunity. My oldest child has also experienced many problems with bullying, and, if it continues, may force me to remove him from this school.
