There are many issues at this establishment. I really wish that I had done more research on the kind of people that run this place before I sent my child there. For an establishment that falls under the "non-profit" umbrella, they do everything based on how it effects there bottom line. They cancelled Santa Clause, field trips, etc.... No matter how hungry your child is, they can only have 1 1/2 hotdogs. They don't support the employees and/or follow through on anything. Most of the teachers really dislike the job and the owner, and it shows in the attitude. 3-4 different teachers in one class over 9 months. What a nightmare. I have yet to meet anyone in Castroville that has something nice to say about the lady who runs this place, she has burned and turned to many people over the last 15 years. I really recommend to parents that they visit their other options.

I don't recommend this school. My daughter was not at standard math level when she completed her grade at this school, and I was not aware that she needed to improve her math skills. I could bring several things that I didn't like, but you be your own judge.

This facility is NOT one that I would recommend to ANY parent. They have horrible workers & the director herself is extremely rude & let's things "slide" that would be frowned upon if the State were to inspect her. I personally know of at least 8 staff that have left that facility due to the lack of order. It may look like a nice place to take your children but when it comes down to it the likely hood of your children getting taken care of while your at work is not good. I had my children attending there until one day they CRIED that they did not want to go to daycare that day & was also informed of some UNREAL things that went on there. In my opinion that place should be shut down. If your looking for a reliable, caring, loving, safe & enjoyable place for your children to go to & not have to worry about them being mistreated or ignored I recommend the Gallegos DayCare Center in LaCoste Texas. I have my children there and they LOVE IT =] It has that home feeling to it and the staff & directors are warm & pleasant. My children have not complained about this place once & I am at ease leaving them there.

The small parent-teacher ratio was a nightmare for my boy. He was isolated and didn't like being teased. I'm with the parents who expected more from this school. We are disappointed.

This school has been great for my boys. It is small with parent teacher ratio that is outstanding. They are performing above grade level and i am very pleased with this school.

This school has many problems and can't properly educate your children to a competitive advantage. If you are looking for a "daycare" facility, then this is a good place to bring your children. The school academy lacks a formal library for your childs reading benefits. The academy lacks sufficient computer stations for your elementary child. This school lacks friendly and basic professionalism to parents who support the academy that teaches their children. There are no structure forums of communication between admistration and parents.
