My daughter and son have been attending Atascocita Montessori for over a year. They both love going to school every day and have learned so much. Much to our surprise, our daughter was reading and doing addition/subtraction before her 5th birthday. Ms. Ray, Ms. April and Ms. Gaby go above and beyond to make the learning process seem effortless. The director, Ms Loree Hill is top notch and truly cares for the wellbeing of every child. We love AMS and highly recommend.

My five year old has been going to AMS for the last three years. We started him in the three day a week program and have really been impressed with their progress. He is is about to start kindergarten and there is no doubt in my mind he is extremely prepared for it. Ms. April is his teacher and we absolutely adore her. Her communication to the parents is quick and efficient. On his very first day in her class she sent me a quick email on her lunch break just letting me know that he was having a great day and had made two new friends. That absolutely calms a mothers heart to get a mid day update like that! My three year old has been attending here for a little over a year and started out in the toddler class and was switched to the primary class once he turned three. His teach Ms. Vanessa is phenomenal. She is patient, kind, fun and firm which is exactly what he needs. When my son started here the communication from the admin was extremely lacking, but over the last year a couple new admins started at AMS and the communication has been greatly improved! Overall I highly recommend AMS and if you can get your kiddo in Ms. April or Ms. Vanessa's class you will not regret it!

I was not pleased with this center since DAY ONE. My son went to the center for ONE WEEK in April, yet in JULY I am still dealing with not only receiving a refund from them, but continuous drafts from my account. On the very first day my son was dropped off at the center with a small insect bite on his ear. I thought if the bump increased in size they would call me.. WRONG. When I picked up my son his ear had swelled so much that I had to immediately take him to an urgent care center. Why wasn't I called?? I have no idea!!!! Despite this red flag I decided to give them another chance. It took days for the center director Kathrina to set me up with the app that they use so I could get notes from my son's teacher. I was told that she was "busy" and she would help me when she could. Crazy right? My son's teacher had to handwrite notes, so she continue to ask me to sign up for the app, but it was out of my control. When I was finally signed into the app, I received no apology.... Next I was told that potty training was a big thing in his class and that he would be potty trained, yet when my son was sent in underwear, (which is what the teacher requested I do), he was sent back in pull ups. The straw that broke the camels back was the day that I walked in and they were watching TV. I was furious! At 18 months television is not recommended. This is something I could've called and reported to the state. When I informed them that my son should not watch television and that they could get dinged by the state, they shrugged me off and told me that it was ok and that they always watch television when it was raining. I immediately pulled my son out of the program. I was told that I would be issued a refund. Here I am 3 months later with nothing. I just checked the account and realized that they were also still drafting funds from my account. I don't know of any business that still takes money out of your account once you cancel the services. I was also told that they sent a check to me, but it was returned (tqhey never called to say that it was returned or to verify the correct address before resending the check) I was also told that they did not have a tracking number on the check that was sent. Who sends a 2k in the mail without a tracking number?!?!?

My three year old adores his school! His teachers, Ms. Vanessa and Ms. Nasreen, are so patient and loving. He has learned so much here, even from the older kids in his class. This school has helped him learn to be confident, social and naturally inquisitive about how everything works. I love their inclusion of nature! They emphasize manners and independence such as serving yourself, even washing your own plate. The montessori method is wonderful and this school embodies everything about it. So happy our son loves it here.
