One of the worst schools Ive ever taught at in my 20-year teaching career! The students are disrespectful and very poorly behaved. I had never been cursed at by a student until I taught at this school.
The worst problem, though, lies with the administration. They are inconsistent and non-supportive. Dr. Kirkpatrick bullied me and tried to force me into resigning even though I had received a glowing review the year before.

I was extremely disappointed when I found out this school had a problem with bullying. My student also told me that a racial slur had been directed at them. I thought in 2022, that was over given the high income and high education levels that is represented here. Turns out those things do not help someone to accept others.

Lots of homework, not much support, strict teachers. We learn a lot, but there is absolutely no leeway or forgiveness if you make mistakes. It's not our home campus so if you start failing... start cleaning out your locker.

There's SOOOOOOO much homework from every single class which means late homework nights every night.

They can be supportive at some times, but some are very strict.

The teachers put on presentations and stuff, but nobody listens, pays attention, or even cares.

Nobody leads with a good example. Everyone is just trying to fit in and be like each other.

Teachers don't support students with learning differences or disabilities any different then they would the smartest kid in school. Either you are at the expected level, or you're going to a different school. There's no in between.

We're all nerds. We can't really bully each other anyway.

Absolutely terrible school! The leadership at this school is a disgrace. They make action plans for children they say have behavioral issues and then never follow through with their action plans. Child went to another school and have had not one single issue!!!!

Great programs and teachers. Very happy we did not just look for a new building and decided to place the focus on the people and opportunities LCI offers from Wave to Omega programs.

The teachers here are very dedicated except for one. Mrs. Farries is so nice. She was the first person to talk to my daughter about her so called "friends" and tell her that they're not good people.

I'm in my 1st year at LCI WAVE and I never regretted my decision in joining WAVE. Yes, the homework can be a lot but it gives me the opportunity to learn new things. Most of the teachers are nice and caring.

Just a heads up..... I just walked into League city intermediate and checked my son out for the day without once ever being asked my name or to see an ID. I've never been up to the school before, I live in Austin. So they didn't know me. Kind if scary really.....
