This school is surrounded by a great neighborhood. The teachers are very helpful and the class sizes are small so each child gets the attention needed

We’ve had 4 kids at Westside (1 still there) and can’t recommend the school highly enough.

This is a great school that places a strong emphasis on reading. They group first-grade students into different groups based on their reading levels, with advanced students tackling more challenging books and lower-level students reading simpler ones. Whenever we email the school teachers with questions, they respond quickly and thoroughly, showing that every staff member and teacher at the school is dedicated to the students' well-being.

When I took my kids to this school I was sceptical about public schools in general but I was taught differently! Westside and it's staff really tries its best to help their students to grow and inspire and be respectful to the people around them! They try to find the best solution for every family and child.
Just a quick note about the front desk: these days you get to be greeted with a smile and you are taken seriously with your questions, wishes and concerns! Don't hesitate to send your kids to this school!

This school is excellent: such a warm and friendly atmosphere with a focus on leadership and character development. The teachers are fantastic and the new principal is top-notch.

My son has a few learning issues, his teachers have always been open and constantly give me feedback. They have always given that extra bit, a great experience.

Excellent teachers and administrative staff! The school staff truly care about the children's well-being and their educational needs. I wouldn't have them anywhere else.

This school has a very rude front desk and attendance clerk. The teacher selection has been such a disappointment.

We have had a good experience with the school, however, it is our first! Our K teacher was great, 1st grade was so-so, 2nd grade one has been excellent. The PTA is very involved and needs parent participation. They put together several events thruout the year. There are also grade oriented events the kids do (costumes, pj day, etc...) that the kids love. Our child is in SRP and speech therapy and they're very attentive to his needs. I have friends who wish their child was in our district to attend there, so rumor has it that it's a desired school.
