This school lacks diversity and inclusivity, with limited cultural representation. Some students exhibit aggressive and unkind behavior, and there are frequent instances of students using inappropriate language in the hallways, creating a hostile atmosphere for others. Communication with the principal is poor, as emails from parents often go unanswered. The school environment feels disorganized, and many students seem disengaged, often spending time on their phones instead of focusing on their studies. Classrooms are chaotic, which makes it difficult for motivated students to concentrate, as disruptive behavior is common. There are also reports of theft, fighting, and other inappropriate activities, which the administration appears to downplay. My child regrets attending this school and feels that her entire middle school experience was wasted there. I would not recommend this school.

This is a good school, definetely one of the better middle schools in RRISD. Teachers at this school are great. However, students at this school can be exteremely disrespectful and rowdy. The locker room smells absolutely miserable.

If youre the type of parent where getting the highest test scores are most important to you, then this may be the school for you! However, the administration certainly lacks when it comes to how to effectively deal with conflicts or develop well-rounded students.
If youre a super crunchy parent, Id say with confidence, over 90% of the student population there, are children who come from parents who would call the cops on their neighbor for loud music, without even asking them politely first, to turn it down since its disrupting their sleep.
and then the administration in this case, would be the cops, that immediately arrest the neighbor for disturbing the peace.
I do not recommend this school.

It is very good. The teachers and staff are wonderful. Arguably the best middle school in RRISD!

The 7th grade assistant principal snatched my daughters phone from her hands at the cafeteria without talking to her. My daughter is not a troublemaker, she has never caused trouble in school. Last year it was allowed to use their phones in the cafeteria but this year is not, thats fine. But at that age they dont grasp everything during student meetings especially if that student has issues focusing like my daughter. Thats is disrespectful. Thats abuse of power. He decided to abuse his power instead of talking to her like a normal human being. My daughter is not an animal to be treated that way.

I am currently a seventh grader here and so far, it is amazing! They have programs for gifted students and lots of electives, or extracurricular classes! The school is really fun, and the teachers are so nice! They have lots of clubs and UIL (Universal Interscholastic League) clubs as well. The cafeteria food is not the best, though. Like all schools, Pearson Ranch Middle School also has some flaws.
