I wouldnt recommend this school. It is unacceptable that parents arent heard when it comes to bullying! Instead of addressing the bullying. The school tends to take the side of the child bullying. I hope their child never has to encounter such treatment.

School administrators are extremely unprofessional. Especially their principal.

Moving from Arizona to San Antonio we were thrilled to choose a neighborhood with this elementary school. The teachers, administration, and counselors really helped our child adapt and then excel. Our son was in a class with a few rougher kids that started causing problems for many kids in class and across the school. Our sons teacher with the administration sternly nipped it in the bud before it became too much of an issue, all while keeping open communication with families through emails and letters home. We would happily recommend this school!

School has been great for both our daughter and son. My daughter recently completed 5th grade and was there from kindergarten. The transition to middle school was seamless for her and Hoffman's staff was a big part of her preparation.

We love Hoffmann. All of the teachers and staff that we have come across seem to care about the children. It is a beautiful school and is kept in good repair. I like that the principal and vice principal are always visible whether it's at the car line, the activities throughout the day, they always pop in to the parties in the classroom, etc. Probably my only complaint is that the school is WAY over capacity. There are just too many kids for the size of the school. Parking is always an issue if there is an event or award ceremony, party day, etc.

Our 2 boys have attended Hoffman Elementary for 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. The school is very well organized, the principal is always approachable and helpful as is the office staff. The teachers my children have had have been very hands on and push the students to do their best. It has been a great, positive learning environment for us. I would recomment this elementary school highly to anyone who asks.

This school does nothing but lie! If your child has any kind of learning disability beeare! The principle and special ed coordinator will paint this awesome picture but the truth they do very little to accommodate or modify for the children! The IEP's are vague with little info. The goals they set are just pulled off of websites! They don't get the gen. Ed teachers the extra spec. Ed support they need to work with these children and it's frustrating to have to continually meet over and over and call them out on what they are not doing for the children who have special needs but if you work with nisd superintendents office you will get quicker results but ultimately the trust that they comtinue to follow the rules is not there so behind closed doors it usually isn't getting done so you have to continually do drop in to check on your child or children to ensure they are getting the support needed!

We are a military family and last year my twin son and daughter entered 3rd grade at Hoffmann ES. They had attended foreign schools up to then, so it was their first time in American school. The teachers and staff at Hoffmann made their transition unbelievably smooth. Both children are doing well, working hard, and very happy due to the special attention from their teachers, especially Ms. Dallahan and Ms. Crockett that first year. Both teachers worked so hard to get to know each child individually and identify their strengths/weaknesses and work with them to achieve their maximum learning and social potential. Now, they are very happy 4th graders who again have wonderful teachers at Hoffmann. The teachers and staff go out of they way to ensure the kids have an enriching learning experience. The atmosphere is very open and welcoming as the front office is there to answer any question you may have and make parents feel comfortable. The extracurricular activities are amazing, too! The choir program with Ms.Noblett, as well as the jump rope and Young Astronauts program are all great. As a parent, I could not be more pleased with everything about Hoffmann ES.
