This school is a newly built school and has been open for 2 years. This is just enough time to work out the kinks and focus on student achievement. Tutoring, numerous clubs and organizations from math and science (AIMS Club) to choir, UIL, and Student Council are available to students. Students of all socioeconomic situations come together to provide an amazing learning experience for students. Fourth and fifth graders enjoy a 4 day camp excursion with teachers and administrators, as well, as with their peers to be hands-on in science learning in an immersive method. What does this cost families? $0. Absolutely nothing. Students and teachers alike help raise the money. Administrative support is evident and bullying is not tolerated or accepted. The two assistant principals are the true administration of the school and are always visible.

  • What did you like? A lot of hands-on learning, many opportunities for extra-curricular activities, and students are focused on rather than their scores on standardized testing. Their knowledge acquisition is a greater focus.
  • What did you dislike? Parents park in handicapped spots making it difficult for wounded warriors, disabled vets, and other handicapped individuals from being able to appropriately utilize the spaces.
