The students here take advantage of old teachers. Bullying and fight go on here mostly middle school . Most of the high schoolers are role models. One day I was going to get some water and while I was walking and I heard high schoolers talking about buying and selling vapes . I also caught someone middle schoolers in the restroom and they were forcing me to vape . Some just come to school to be messy and fight but they be the main ones asking the teacher why the are failing . The principal knows what goes on here but just ignore it . It feels like the students run the school. When kids fight they come straight back to class without any punishments . He also just tells us to behavior and stop when people are misbehaving when the superintendents are here . All I’m saying is come at your own risk. If your child is use to this then come here . This bad behavior runs the good like me away and leaves
All the bad .

The school is good academically, but the staff does a good job of hiding being friendly. Behind closed doors with your student, if your child is having a challenging time, the staff is unfriendly. The principal constantly yells and curses at the students, which violates HISD employee policy. If you get into trouble with the school counselor, she will pick on your child, harass, and talk about something that happened a year ago, and also curse at them. They will suspend your child or tell you they can't come in the next day, for little things, such as throwing something in class. You will also get written up for little things. They hate it when your child stands up for themselves and calls them out. If your child is telling you the same thing constantly, what is going on behind closed doors, please believe them and not the staff. They act like they want to help a special ed child, but don't. Yelling does not resolve a recurring incident; a better approach would have a better outcome. This year, the special education department chair is not as good as last year's chair. The new person in charge is not as helpful as the last person. The school does not support the students' mental health and emotional well-being; they put on a front as if they support it. If that were the case, yelling would not occur for a child facing mental challenges.
