My 4 year old niece has been going to this school for about two years now and she has been doing great! She loves the staff and she feels safe with them. When she started going here she was very shy with new people and I was worried that she would have a hard time adjusting. Her teacher (Ms. Josefina) and the Director (Ms, Ynoli) are very nurturing and take their time with the children to make sure they are offering a very inclusive environment. My niece has really blossomed here! She is learning a lot about numbers (she counted to almost 100 the other day), shapes, sounds, nature, space. You name it, they teach it! The classes are not too big so your child will be able to get one on one attention during the day. I highly recommend Montessori Children House to anyone.

Excellent and I highly recommend. I love the small size of it and that it is owed by a family. The staff is great and I've always trusted them and they have not disappointed.

I have found the director/teacher to be highly effective. My oldest child attended for 4 years. The amount of knowledge she gained was amazing and covered all subjects from reading, math to science. I also appreciated that they often covered recent events that were top of mind for the children like what is hail. The teachers here instill a love of learning,

I see this very clearly with my child who graduated from kindergarten. Entering the first grade very confident not having any issues transitioning from the Montessori school to traditional school.

The director is clear with her overall vision for the school and following the Montessori method.

It's hard to find quality child care in San Antonio. We first put our child in one of the chain Montessori schools and was very disappointed. Did some research later to find they were all trained online! A friend recommended Montessori Earth and I was so impressed the minute I walked in. Felt like I was visiting old friends. It's run by a mother and daughter team both trained by AMI. I have a 4 ½ and a 2 ½ year old there currently and I would highly recommend you to this school!

This school only goes up to age 6 so there is no need for homework.

Ms. Ynoli is probably the best I have ever experienced. I cannot comment on the others because my child was not with them.

There is not really homework because the kids are too young. Right amount of activities though.

Yes, and they do it per the Montessori method which I personally feel is great.

I actually found this place to be wonderful. We were there from the summer of 2014 to this April. My husband's job requires us to move every couple years so my five children have seen a lot of schools. I saw none of the problems listed above. Turnover did occur but that is very common in child care facilities. This place tries to follow the Montessori method so it may have been a different environment than what the reviewer above was used to or expected.

My husband and I have been displeased with the quality of our son's care at this school. From the beginning there were problems. We have found another child wearing his clothes, another time his sippy cup went untouched all day. Regularly we found him with food all over his face and clothes, and his diaper full. There has been a lot of turnover with both teachers and teaching assistants, and no communication about those changes from the school. It was 2 weeks before we knew our son's teacher no longer worked there (there is an aide present when we drop him off and pick him up). We had to call the school and ask. It was difficult to get information about our son's daily activities, and what we did get from his teacher and teacher's aide were rarely consistent. We asked for reports on our son but were told that wasn't "Montessori". When my son stopped attending, the head of the school said the teacher couldn't work with him because he only attended 2 full days a week (he is 2 years old with a stay-at-home dad). We wanted educational enrichment for our son, not a drop-off daycare. The school is not at all what was presented to us when we met the teachers and toured the facility.
