We love Living Rock Academy. My children are excelling academically as well as spiritually. This school is truly a family and every staff member at the school loves the students. Academics and faith-based teachings go hand-in-hand at LRA. This was extremely important, as parents, to find a school where this existed. We have found this at Living Rock Academy in Bulverde, Texas. The students are also exposed to and encouraged to use technology, as a ChromeBook is assigned to each student from 5th grade and above.

We are thankful for a school that believes teaching should encompass the whole person and can happen outside the classroom. We love the integration of service and hands-on learning. I value that my student is learning to lead and has excellent self confidence because of the exposure to group projects, community service, athletics, fine arts, and student mentoring.

First and foremost is the sense of community the school builds within itself. There is a system called Bobcat Buddies. The older students take the younger students under their wing and mentor them. As the younger students grow they will in time take over mentoring the younger ones below them. I have witnessed a spiritual growth in my 6 year old that is amazing.

Second, the teachers. The teachers here are so caring and love their jobs. It is not just another day at work, it is a PASSION. The classes are small and the children get the individual 1 on 1 time that is so important for their young minds.

Next is communication. The school is always communicating with the parents. The school sends out ample information to everyone. The teachers are also easy to reach if you need them. They will also let you know about any concerns that they may have before it becomes a major problem. We had concerns when we had children in public schools that many times were not addressed by teachers until it was far too late to do anything about. LRA is wonderful in the communication field.

We love this school and the administration for all that they do and will do for our child and yours. We are so confident in this fact that we will send our son here every year for the solid education and spiritual growth that he needs.

All of my son's teachers have been an important part of his growth. As with everyone, there are multiple styles and personalities in the different classes each day but this is a good thing. It helps the students adapt to changing demands and personalities, which is a good life lesson.

Homework is an important ingredient and there's plenty to reinforce what the children learn at school but not too much. Good balance.

This is a very small, Christian-based school in Bulverde. It's a new school that is just receiving accreditation very shortly. My oldest son attends and he's had a WONDERFUL year after being in a larger, public middle school his first year (6th grade). Been a great 7th grade for him and we're putting our younger son there this coming year. Can't wait!

Great place for kids to learn and grow! My children have loved everything about this school. They enjoy the cross curricular field trips and the outreach days. It's wonderful seeing them go out into their communities and serving!

LRA has been an amazing experience for our children (elementary and middle school)! All of the teachers are an extension of Christ's love in our children's lives. They each take the time to get to know their students going above and beyond to help them in their academic journey. In addition, the outreach component of LRA's educational program is a key ingredient in teaching the children what it means to serve others. Living Rock Academy creates an atmosphere of family both inside and outside of the classroom. Their extra-curricular activities and athletic programs create a sense of excitement and pride in the students. We love being part of the bobcat family!

Amazing school, teachers and staff! My kids love "living what they learn!" Cross curricular field trip and community outreach are just some of the things that make this school so wonderful. It is by far the best school in the area!

The faculty and staff truly love God, the students and what they do! They take the time to really get to know each student, his/her likes/dislikes and learning style. They take the time to educate the students and help them grow stronger in their knowledge of life, themselves and others! Our child looks forward to going to school and has come into who God wants him to be because of the love he receives everyday. There are not enough positive words to express how much we love Living Rock Academy and we will continue to tell everyone we know how wonderful the school is!

We are truely blessed to have our son attend Living Rock. The small classes and teacher student ratio are so beneficial to his daily learning. He really enjoys the weekly schedule. Starting off his week with chapel and ending it with community outreach.
