Terrible school year. Bartosek was very BIASED for a particular type of student. Very in the open about it as well. Never seen 4th graders have legitimate problems from grown women.

Even though my younger sister learns well at this school, this building is also very fond of having full grown people bully and belittle kids, which is crazy because if you dont like children or cant keep your patience with them then you shouldnt be working there. The other week my sister got yelled at for trying to go to her split class, which they are REQUIRED to do, and one of the lunch workers (I think) started yelling at her telling her to come back, but the thing is the kids were all trying to tell her its time to go to different classes. This lady responded by telling my sister that she is a girl and she needs to stop acting tough and clapping in her face like she was trying to fight a little girl. So I have gotten my sister to call all her friends and ask what her name was, and its a shame that none of my sisters friends know who this lady is (mind you she has a LOT of friends), it just shows how nobody cares about her or even wants to be around somebody as sloppy and miserable. To make matters worse, even the counselor and other staffs were just standing there watching while trying to shush up my sister like she was supposed to let somebody talk to her in that type of way. At the end of the day, Id prefer that lady to work as a dump truck driver because the stench matches her attitude and how she looks. Stop talking to peoples kids with disrespect if you dont want people to disrespect you.

My kids have been going here since pre-k , they love the school up until my last daughter made it to the 5th grade and was having issues and the counselor Canfield did not contact me about it at least to tell me what was going on and the conversation she held with my daughter. I have called the front desk and they are HORRIBLE at finding an Available counselor, principal or AP so I can speak to about my daughter and the issues she has been having. Ambrosia hung up on me after waiting on the phone for her to transfer me to someone about this matter. I just feel like they dont have the time and care to notify me the parent about what it is that is going on at the school that my daughter comes home crying about not feeling comfortable. Now I cant fault none of the amazing teachers there- but this is ridiculous - none of the principals are ever available as well as the counselors - theres no structure obviously and I feel as if my daughter doesnt matter here. Yall arent trying to make this easy for me instead yall chose to be nonchalant about it but if it was a child of yours - you would feel the same way I feel. Horrible start for my daughters last year here - shame on you principals
And counselors for being unavailable all the time DO BETTER FOR OUR KIDS NOT JUST YOUR KIND & when you feel like it
