The education this school gives to the children who attend the school are very good but their are some things they lack for example the variety of experiences like band and choir, the food isn't very appealing for a child to want to eat,the instant communication to parents, and transportation for kids who have trouble with coming to school on time instead of teachers and principals nagging the kids like it's always their fault, and also family engagement because families aren't allowed to come to alot of their childrens things which can be upsetting to some families.

There food is trash and for the 7th and 11th graders they look like criminals because they have to wear orange. And for breast cancer month we can't even wear pink it has to be "accessories" all because of these stupid uniforms I mean the teachers are good, but the rules for the nurses office are CRAZY: you cannot go home until you throw up 2 times and same for diarrhea and that will get the class sick. Another thing is that if you break something they are just going to give you ice and send you back not phone call home no ambulance nothing. At my old school I was excited to come but at this school it is so miserable that I hate school now and I feel like dropping out. Now that you are seeing this I hope you will have second thoughts about putting your kids in this unsafe school. Oh and they don't even help people that much and all they do at tutoring is IZL that doesn't work so please don't put your kids in this school

My kids have been attending to this school for almost two years, they are in 4th and 5th grade, and I could not be happier. I have good communication with all their teacher through ClassDojo app. Parents receive all the communication and reminders on that app and also on the weekly news and fb page. Academically, my two sons feel supported and always encourage to keep learning, they receive homework every day on paper and also in the different apps they have to support the content for their different classes. They used to be in another campus (another city) at IDEA as well. The previous campus I liked a lot too, but my experience in this campus has been even better. I feel that my kids are happier here having a better balance between academic responsibilities and having fun. I wish the school offer more electives though, but they are working on integrating them.I like that every week they celebrate the scholar of the week for each classroom in the victory lap. I have been reached out when my kids have been involved in problems with other students or academically, also when they were not feeling well and were sent to the nurse (not all the times, only in emergencies, like high temperature or vomiting). The drop off line and pick up line, I think is manageable, it was the same in the previous campus.

I wish I could give this school zero stars. Lack of communication is a big thing with this school. The teachers are there just to get a check! When trying to reach the school it is near impossible! You have to call 12x before you receive someone and when it is finally answered they have an attitude. My daughter has tried to go to the nurses office on several occasions and guess what? They apparently don’t have a permanent nurse on the campus. Also my mother has been ignored in the line when picking up my daughter, her window has been beat on. While my child was waiting to be picked up her teacher sent her back into the school by herself. A 10year old girl, to go get another student because their ride was there to get them. In the mist of that they kept pushing my mom forward and eventually told her that should would have to go back through the line since her rider wasn’t outside My mom gets out the car to talk to the principal and she tells the principal, “hello I am here to get my grandchild but she is not out here yet, can someone tell me what’s going on.” The principals reply, “well is the child in the car” I’ am under the impression that no one in this school is smarter than a 5th grader. We’ve had the worst experience ever with this school. Avoid this school and take your kids to Austin Achieve! Even Idea Pflugerville has horrible reviews!

It needs alot of time to explain why i give abad reviews but i can say the only good thing at this school is learning they give them alot of homework but any other thing is not good no arrangements most of theme dont treat kids nicely the school miss alot like art science music clubs plus the kids gym is shared mostly with the middle and high schoolers plus they keep all students waiting their families out at the end of the day no matter the weather is hot cold rainy for about 30 minutes plus the car rider line is too long and the staff isn't organized to make it faster and smother
