ILTexas overall is a pretty good school, the district themselves have a great idea of what leadership means and have a special way to transmit it to students. The programs provided like Model UN, and GT help students reach pass their limits and become something better. Although these should be the expectations overall of an ILTexas school, they are not being met. The programs are overall messy, GT for middle school has been totally pushed to the side, as for the staffing issue- there was more than 3 teachers over the year that quit. Leaving students without learning opportunities, then there is work being given out and expected to be due within a short amoung of time with no prior teaching given to the students. The teachers are pretty good that are still there. Having 2 core teachers missing has had a great impact on the students, putting them behind in various amount of work- nothing that there's both science and math STAAR test coming up. Putting the students educational reputation in jeopardy, since 8th grade students have to take ALL of the star tests. Recently, there's been a science teacher provided, but STAAR is next week? How come therehas JUST been an effort to actually help us pass the STAAR test, the fact that there's not even 8th grade work being presented to us but instead 7th grade work is absurd. Therefore, it's middle school program this year was in shambles, I hope and wish that the upcoming 8th graders do not have to deal with this and instead get help for the kowledge they missed out on.

ILTexas Pearland K8 is a beautiful campus that just opened in 2024. The benefits for students of the school is the focus on developing leadership skills, learning two languages (Chinese and Spanish), and the small class sizes. The athletic department and clubs offer many outlets for students to become well-rounded. The staff is a diverse population that reflects the student body. They are passionate about educating students and providing a nurturing environment for families. I am excited to work at ILTexas and cannot wait to see how our school will continue to grow.

The International Leadership of Texas - Pearland K8 commitment to a trilingual mission is what truly sets us apart. In our middle school, we don't treat languages as just another elective; they are a core part of who we are. Every student takes both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, with classes specifically tailored to their individual fluency levels. This ensures that whether a student is a beginner or a native speaker, they are being challenged appropriately so they can graduate speaking three languages.

Its also been wonderful to see our Fine Arts and Athletics programs flourish. We offer both Band and Orchestra as elective options, allowing our scholars to develop their musical talents during the school day. On the competitive side, our athletic department has hit the ground running. We offer Flag Football, Baseball, and Softball, among others and the atmosphere at our games is electric. I have to give a huge shout-out to our girls' athletic programstheir hard work has been undeniable, as theyve advanced to the playoffs in every single sport so far this year!

Because we are still a newer campus in our second year, we are constantly learning, refining our traditions, and streamlining our operations. There are always "growing pains" with a new school, but the dedication of our staff and the achievements of our students make this an amazing place to work and learn.
