I have two students at this school, and they have had a phenomenal experience. The teachers really strive to build strong relationships with students, and the Admin knows the kids, holds them accountable, and is always out in classes and the hallways.

There are many fights and ISS for little things which (in my opinion) should just be a detention.

I am a Tippit titan and I have loved every second here they have helped me navigate what I have wanted to do in life and to see what should be my goal whether they're big or just realistic And I mean of course, in school there are some bad kids, but the VP and the Staff shut it down immediately. This school is not what it use to be it is a very better version of the old one the school is totally amped up and with a beautiful interior, the electives are fun and The theater and the choir room are my safe Havens, I love the family feeling in the Girls Athletics the coaches really emphasize what it means to be a team player and it just a fun place to be!

Tippitt is better than what people have been reporting on here. Teachers are very involved and the administration is supporting of children and families. Recommend anyone to check out the school to see for themselves.

The school has a lot of challenges facing them on a daily basis but the teachers are amazing. They are truly going above and beyond to help the kids that want to succeed do so. I have a child with a learning disability and the teachers come in early for study sessions, work with the students at lunch or even stay late to let the students catch up. If the student shows initiative, the teachers are willing to help them succeed. The overall rating of the school is not an adequate score. The teachers are amazing.

Used to be a good school. Still could be if Georgetown ISD would redraw their middle school boundary lines.

Used to be an excellent school with outstanding teachers, attentive administrators, and hard working students. This school was academically recognized as above average, teacher's time and input was valued, and students flourished. Not any more.
Around 95% of the faculty left, including teachers, vice principals, counsellors, etc...
An over-emphasis on data, state test prep, shuffling paperwork, and multiple weekly after hours meetings has created an over burdened and disgruntled staff, and loss of motivating lesson plans.
Students are over managed and treated like elementary students: assigned lunchroom seating, no before and after school freedom to chat with friends, play basketball, or just walk around. They are lined up like cattle and forced to sit on the floor of their grade's hall. No getting up, moving, or moving to sit near friends.
No recess during lunch to relax and move around before heading into afternoon classes.
What used to be a solid school is now a leaky and sinking ship.

I have two children at Tippit Middle School and they are both very happy and doing very well. I don't have any complaints about this school. Teachers are great and caring.

As a parent of an 8th grader who started at Tippit in 6th grade, I could not be more proud of this school! My child went from being a shy and timid 6th grader to an amazingly confident student. I have seen my child flourish. She has excelled academically, socially, and emotionally. The teachers and administration authentically care about the whole child as seen in their holistic approach to teaching as seen top down throughout the school. I chose to put my daughter at Tippit. Great choice!

Great school. Most of the teachers are great! I'd recommend it. But as one of the other commenters said they focus more on other sports and less on tennis, and the office staff can be a bit snappy. Other than that the schools great!!

We've had a great experience at Tippit!! My student has wonderful, fun, caring teachers and administrators. We especially love band and have thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Tippit has a wide variety of opportunities and is a healthy, supportive environment. Go Titans!!

Great school with many opportunities. Dawson is firm, professional and fully engaged. Teachers are great! All of my children will have the chance to attend Tippit. We choose to stay at this school. It's a feeder into EVHS which has scored higher than GHS. Tippit rocks!
