This is the worst school in the city of Houston!!!
I hate that I have to fear my child going here everyday and when she needs help with ngs they just keep giving her more and more work instead of accommodating for some help I mean if she has a ngs and they’re just giving her more and more work as if she doesn’t already have school work as it is this is a terrible school and it should already be shut down!! I mean no school spirit the PRINCIPAL LOOKS LIKE SHE HATES HER JOB THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS PARENTS!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!

Northside High School often feels more like a place you survive than a place you learn. Bullying is a real issue here, and it’s something that many students just learn to live with instead of getting real help for. If you’ve seen Weak Hero Class 1, the atmosphere is very similar—power dynamics, intimidation, and students feeling stuck in a system that doesn’t step in when it should.

What makes it worse is how often bullying seems ignored or brushed off. Teachers and staff don’t always take it seriously, and consequences feel inconsistent, which sends the message that certain behavior is acceptable as long as you’re popular or loud enough. That leaves quieter students feeling isolated, stressed, and unsafe.

The overall environment is draining. It’s hard to focus on school when you’re constantly watching your back or feeling like no one will support you if something happens. Northside has the potential to be better, but until bullying is addressed properly and students are actually protected, it feels like a real-life version of Weak Hero Class 1—without the justice or resolution.

Not bad, I like most of the teachers. Some of the staff is a little unprofessional but, they can be dealt with. Overall, I think the school is great but, majority of the students that go here don't really want to learn or don't care about their education (like most kids anywhere)...They're too worried about whose dating who and when is the next fight. If my peers really made an effort to learn and actually do their work, i'm more than confident that all these stats would improve drastically. All we need is for the student to be focused on their work and we'll bet better.

Davis High School is just like many high schools in America. It is struggling with parental involvement. If parents become more involved the school will improve. The school will boost it's finances if students attend class. Students and parents do not often understand that attendance brings money to a schools budget. Come to class and the school can purchase newer items and improve everything on campus. Coming to class and doing your best will raise test scores. It will increase your opportunities in life. I give this school an above average rating because the staff really cares about their students. I knocked one star off because there needs to be more parents involvement, and a few students need to make more effort and attend class daily. Go Panthers!

I attened this school from 91-95... yes i flunked a year. But this school is a great place for students to truly want to learn something. I took me a long time to see it. I would love to see my kids attend this school. I truly love the Culinary Department. To all the class of '95, the best wishes my friends!
