So disappointed in this school and especially the counselor. They do nothing about kids being bullied and several times the cops and an ambulance have had to come to the school. They dont call my daughter by her name but rather the color of her skin has earned her many nicknames and none of which is a bit respectful

I went here and they do not care about the students mental health at all. Most of the teachers and principals are disrespectful, nor do they teach the students hear anything. They let students cheat on tests and dols. This school doesnt do anything about you getting bullied or harassed.

They don't care about the students at all. They will bypass what you feel and make it something it wasn't . If you are getting bullied they will tell you to just forget and ignore them . They only care about tests and grades . They do not care about your mental health . This is me as a student as of recently in 7th grade I've been here since 6th grade and gotten in 3 fights because of people bullying me . And I finally stood up and they fought me . They tried to switch it to me being in the wrong . They don't care and they will only suspend you and won't do nothing about it . The only people that has actually helped is Ms King , Ms Richardson and Ms Matias .This school has bad lunch , barely provides students necessary materials , and has rats and mold on the ceiling . Don't go to school because you will have to defend yourself and learn to stay true to yourself .

It's frustrating to see such bias reviews on these types of websites, especially that one review about some who HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN TO OUR SCHOOL! Marshall has been going through so many changes and has been working hard to be the best school they can be. Teachers are working to the bone and it is seen in the faces of my kids every day . After school activities are available to every child and some of these stay late so parents don't have to worry about their late times coming home. Clubs sports they are all there! I really cant wait to see where this school goes.

This school takes their Magnet program very seriously providing students with a number of experiences in not only a way that they can learn how to use an instrument, a paintbrush or even their own skills in dance and acting but they teach them in a way that they could actually create a career out of it. Supportive teachers that have always made themselves available to me. A school working hard to build up their community even with all the ups and downs the school experienceses.

Poor leadership due to principal's lack of sensitivity to cultural diversity. Parents need to know their rights as well as their student's rights. Open the coveer and take a look inside, the inner workings of the school and principal; very racially biased towards Hispanic community and families.
