They do indeed see children as nothing more than a dollar sign forgetting how many parents themselves struggle financially but yet last minute fundraisers bouncing in from left and right pressuring many parents to participate so our children don’t feel left out.

This school used to be considered one of the top elementary schools in San Antonio as far as academics is concerned but lately, for the past 5 years, the administration, particularly the top level, has run this school into the ground focusing on the wrong things and seeing the children as nothing more than a dollar sign. I have yet to see any type of improvement or actual ideas that can turn this school back to where it used to be. What a pity and to blame parents for the downfall is another matter. Hopefully for the future students, great positive change will come, especially the top level of administration for we all know disaster trickles from the top.

In all honesty , the school administrator Mrs. Combs is a really nice and understanding person . We have had our hiccups ; ...Usually what kids can expect from schools....bullies...leave / absence excuses ....teacher and student mis communication etc ; however, it was in some way resolved thru the principal or the assistant . The teachers are honestly pretty demanding but in their way they are caring . They worry about the students academic success which is rare to find these days . Like i said , it’s not perfect but as far as succeeding in academics , this school has got it together . My daughter suffers from ADHD but the teachers have helped her tremendously! She use to hate school but These educators have inspired her to reach higher goals . I’ve been there as that mom that doesn’t trust certain schools ...but this school is not that bad . Just try it

There are quite a few teachers that are incompetent. I'm disappointed with this school. There is a lack of integrity, along with lowest teacher retention rate! On another note, Student drop off/ pick up is a total nightmare! They don't have anyone directing traffic!!! JUST HORRIBLE.
