Counselors told me everyone would be happier if I ended my life, went through severe bullying and abuse from other students, zero special education options.

My personal opinion all the teachers are great, they make sure they can have no distractions while trying to teach, not many kids are getting hurt, and all the teachers are great, many kids can make friends, and it is wonderful.

This school is terrible. It used to be good years back but now it’s a literal circus. They let students be harnessed and bullied. They allow students to get hit without intervening until it’s to late. This school has went down hill and keeps going down. The AP’s don’t do their jobs and harass and pick on students. Anyone with kids in 6th to 8th grade I highly recommend taking them to a different schools, because this school doesn’t care about your child’s safety or well being.

Teachers are available for tutoring before and after school, as well as during lunch. They are a great group who strive to help students reach their fullest potential.

With one son on to HS, I am excited to see how this school serves my next son. The first thrived in this environment and I am thankful for the staff, admin, and teachers who worked together to make this campus exceptional!

Homework is assigned as needed. Not too much for students with extra curricular opportunities, plenty for struggling students.

This school is amazing. I'm really surprised that anyone has anything negative to say. The ugly comments must be from bully parents who just aren't getting their way. Do your research. This school has top scores in everything from the state. The academics are recognized. The sports teams have won championships across the board and the fine arts program is one of the most premier in the district. The teachers work so hard. They're available on the weekend and late at night. My kids loved it here.

Leaders have to have these qualities in order to lead by example....they don't have these qualities so they can't teach what they themselves to not possess.

This school is HORRIBLE!!! The administration has no control over the behavior of the students, the principal is ineffective and makes no attempts to control the children. Sure, he will tell you that he's got the situation under control, but the bullying continues and the offenders suffer no consequence. The teachers offer no assistance to students. Instead they, and the administrators, tell you that it's the students responsibility to handle EVERYTHING. They are STILL children and need GUIDANCE. But don't expect anything from the Guidance Counselor either. She looks miserable and has no idea how to effectively mediate conflicts between students.

Find another school to send your children to. Don't subject them to this substandard school.

My child has been attending Liberty Hill For a few months now. She absolutely hates it. The staff is the worst. The day I met the counselor, she was very rude and seemed like she hated her job. I was supposed to meet with a teacher one day and she wasn't even there, she dint call nor email me to tell me not to show up and waste my time. Many students attending have disciplinary problems which makes it hard for my student. There is lack of professionalism all throughout this school and something needs to be done.

My child is currently in his second year at Liberty Middle School as a 7th grader. In these two years my child has had many struggles to keep caught up with the work. I have spoken with the teachers in parent/teacher conferences multiple times to try and come up with a plan to help my child succeed and met with the Asst. Principle/Principle, however the same answer is always given. The common response from the teacher's and administration is that the child is responsible for doing what they are supposed to do. As a parent I totally agree, but am fed up with this attitude. The bottom line is that these kids are still just kids and still need strict adult supervision and guidance. I have met with some teacher's who look like they are on the brink of a break down. The teacher's have no control of their class rooms and choose to write the child up with disciplinary action to get rid of the child because it is easier rather than taking control of the situation and dealing with the student. We are parents who are very involved with our child's education and do everything possible to communicate with the school to fix whatever problems their may be with our child. However, when you have teacher's that are not up to the task of teaching, meaning they take their students attitude personally and respond to their students with sarcasm and demeaning communication or the principals assume that you are just uneducated parent's, that when you go to them with problems and ask for a solution they just beat around the bush and giving you the run around in the hopes that you will eventually give up and just go away. Fair warning to future parents and students of Liberty Hill Middle School, if you have the option of going to another school please do!

I do not feel that this school is fair at all with each and every student. If your child can not keep up with the work or is labeled as a trouble make then he will be treated as such

I have had several children go through LHMS and onto HS. We have had nothing but great experiences every time. The faculty, staff, and administration are all loving and caring people. They worked hard with my children to make sure we got the best academics possible along with all of the extra curricular activities that are offered. Fine arts and athletics excel along with dance teams and cheerleaders. These people don't just work from 7:30 - 4:00; they work long hours before and after school along with the weekends.
The teachers are dedicated professionals who are prepared every day to teach and tutor after school. Check out the schools state testing scores to verify what I am saying!

LHMS is a great place to send my child. He has thrived and grown tremendously at the school. The teachers genuinely care about their students and go the extra mile to make sure their students are doing well. I have nothing but good things to say about this school!

Liberty Hill Middle School is an wonderful school. The teachers and administration seem to really listen and genuinely care about the children. Over the past two years, the moral of the teachers and the entire school has really increased. The kids are learning and having fun. There is always going to be issues and things I don't always agrees with, but at LHMS I find they truly try to address your concerns as a parent.

My daughter an 8th grader and in TAG and AP classes. She has had wonderful teachers who have helped her all three years she's attended Liberty Hill. She recently scored one of the highest scores in STARR reading and Liberty Hill scored as a whole the highest for the middle schools in KISD. The AVID program is wonderful in helping prepare students for high school and college, by encouraging organization and responsibility. The administration staff is some of the finest and professionals I have had the pleasure dealing with. It has been a pleasure attending this school and my daughter is going to miss her teachers.

After a rough start in 6th grade, I must say the teachers and administration really listened and my son had an excellent 7th grade! His confidence is up and he is happy! I hope our 8th grade experience is just as wonderful.

We were not pleased with the communication at LHMS. We ended up transferring our daughter to another school in the district. We attended several conferences with staff, and our concerns were not addressed in a way we were happy with. I hope the administration has turned around from two years ago.

This school is horrible! The children are out of control and the teachers and principles are unable to take that control back. Bullying is rampant and school administration is slow in taking care of discipline problems. Lack of supervision is also a problem. My child doesn't feel like she can talk to teachers about any issues because she feels they're unapproachable. There is just a general lack of discipline from the children and no control by the administration. We're transferring our child to a different school! Don't send your kids here if you can help it.

This school is absolutely horroable !!! My son went here for 3 years and turned from a happy child into a depressed child ! Now my daughter is here and I already seen big changes in her behavior and I will not look at this and say nothing this time > This week my daughter had to draw pictures of terrorist , war and murder !! Im asking everybody as a mother : what kind of school is this ????!!!! Not is it enough that they present war related pictures in their hallways , no ; children are getting sick in this school and are getting nightmares from doing their homework ! I will not let this happen any longer , I will bring this to the public and want that changes are happening there !

Liberty Hill Middle School is bad. My son has had problems with this school from the beginning. He was on the Honor Roll throughout elementary school but has struggled to pass many of the classes here. They only offer liberal arts elective classes. The choir class has a requirement to attend too many after hours concerts. The orientation was a joke because everything they tell you at it gets changed once school gets started. He got several MORs because the tardy bell was five minutes early. When I pointed out that it didn't even agree with all the other clocks in the room, the secretary said that they knew it was broken, but that it was our responsibility to know what time it was at. This would be ok, except it kept changing. Bullying is a big issue at this school. When I went in to talk to the asst principal about it, there was a stack of 20 or so complaints from that week alone, and it was only Tuesday. The teachers need to stand out in the hallways or something. My son has came home several times and told me that he was given less than 5 minutes to eat lunch. He has had 5 different lockers this year because he either couldn't open or couldn't lock them.

I love this school. Teachers and staff are very professional and friendly always looking to help the students excell in their education to include the extracurricular activities. The Spanish Department goes beyond expectations in assisting the students and providing experience to students around the world. Way to go Mrs. Alago. LHMS proves with high TAKS scores they sure make a difference in the district.

I love it at liberty hill. it's my 1st year here so it's kind of new. the teachers are helpful and really care. ive come sometimes telling my parents everything ive learned something i never could do in elementary school. this school also built my self confidence. i'm even more courageous than i was before. i love it here.

i am a student at this school and i love it!!!! the teachers make sure that you understand everything. mrs. harris help me alot she works at the math center and helps you, so does mrs. nunes. this school has been a pleasure i will never forget my time at this school.
