This has to be the worst school ever. Just please put your kids in a charter or private school if you could afford it.

I became a teacher at this school so my child could attend Clear Creek. It's an older, established school in KISD but don't let that fool you. The teachers, staff, and admin are supportive and caring. As a parent and a teacher, I know my child is getting a good education that is challenging, engaging, and in a safe, nurturing environment. I am so glad my family is part of Clear Creek Cavalry!

Great teachers. The rest of the school lacks everything else. Would not recommend this school.

My child had problems. No help! Who has a school that wants kids to be adults not kids. Bad schooling

Posted: September 6, 2017

We asked for a learning evaluation because my child's pediatrician recommended it. Eight months of asking repeatedly and still, no evaluation was done. The principals reason? "Oh- we can't. Learning evaluations are complicated."

I feel like they just encourage the bullying and don't set a good example for the kids. This letter was sent to all of the parents and I find it absolutely ridiculous that the staff would treat kids this way.

The principal, MaryAnn Ramos is horrible to work with. Everything is done "her way" and if you disagree, she just simply won't help you. The office staff is just plain rude.

They don't send out tons of homework but they

Posted: September 6, 2017

Teachers are the best part of this school.

Posted: September 6, 2017

If you think belittling and humiliating students builds character, then yes- they do a great job.

Posted: September 6, 2017

Dealing with this school has been a very poor experience. I do not recommend sending your child here.

The Staff are so rude. I have had so many issues with them. If you want a school that you can take your child/children to and not worry about them this isn't it. The one lady at the front desk is one issue, one problem away from flipping out. I can only imagine how she treats the kids. My daughters 1st grade teacher is amazing , which is why this school even got a star from me. This school can truly benefit from some classes on anger, maybe some classes on respect or something. They are not consistent with policies. There's a school policy on something half of them follow it the other half doesn't and they expect you to know what to do. It's like they're mad they have to come to work. This is just my experience. Others may be different.

Had I come and rated this school two years ago, I would have given it a much higher rating with a better review. I have two children in Clear Creek. While My son, who has done 1,2 & 3rd grade has had a great experience, my daughter who has done pk4, K & now first has had the opposite. She changed teachers in PK4, which was a huge relief, as her new teacher was phenomenal. Her K teacher was also really good. her first grade experience has been awful. She is constantly telling me something is happening to her at school and her concerns are brushed aside and she's just being told she's lying. We spent the entire year working with tutoring to improve her reading level, being told that, if she got to a passing grade she would pass First grade. Apparently I can only write so much, so I cannot go into more detail on this school. However, I am SO glad they'll be going to a new school next year!

This is an amazing school with great teachers my children have learned so much! Thank you so much to the principle and teachers

This school is extremely terrible. I am now looking for a homeschool program for my child. Really bad teachers that seem to not care about the children. their solution to everything is to hold them back because of their teaching incompetence.

My daughter attended this school for all of 1st and most of 2nd grade. She liked it for the most part, she loved her teachers and the friends she made. She didn't like the uniforms though, and I thought it was a bit ridiculous to have elementary school kids wear uniforms, but middle and high school don't. I liked her teachers, and I never had any problems with the staff. I didn't care for the way they changed the drop-off and pick up procedures during this school year, it created horrible traffic. My biggest complaint is that they never sent homework home with the kids. That wouldn't be an issue if no other schools did either, but they do, an dnow my daughter is having a difficult time keeping up with her new schools work load. I would suggest parents print out worksheets for their kids to do as homework. This way when they go on to middle school, the concept of homework isn't foreign to them.
