Inappropriate Conduct by School Bus Driver
Dear Principal's
I am writing to formally express my serious concern regarding an incident involving one of your school bus drivers who, on August 29th, 2025, physically and verbally mistreated my child, I.R a student in pre k at seele elementary.
According to my child, the driver grabbed them roughly by the arm, yelled at them in an aggressive manner. This behavior is deeply troubling and completely unacceptable for anyone entrusted with the care and transportation of students.
As a parent, I expect the highest standard of professionalism, patience, and safety from school staff especially those in direct contact with children on a daily basis. This incident has not only shaken my child but has caused great concern for our family.
I respectfully request that this situation be taken seriously and investigated immediately. Specifically, I ask the school and transportation department to:
Review any available bus surveillance footage from bus 31 on August 29th, 2025.
Interview any witnesses, including other students who may have been present.
Provide a written response regarding what actions will be taken following this report.
Furthermore, I would like to request that my child not be placed in direct contact with this bus driver while this matter is being reviewed. Their emotional and physical safety must be a priority.
Please confirm receipt of this letter and let me know the next steps in the investigation process. I am prepared to escalate this matter if necessary, but I hope we can resolve this through a responsible and professional approach.
Sincerely
Steven robinson

This sounds like an exaggeration but we could not imagine a better school. Our children come home so happy and excited to tell me about their day. The teachers and staff are amazing and have been there forever. Everyone genuinely cares about each other and it makes Seele the happiest place I know. Our kids are learning reading, writing, and math with ease. It's fun! I wish every child could have a school like ours.

Seele is a bit tough to judge. Although the school's test scores are impressive, it has a bit of a bullying problem. When transferring into the 5th grade, I was initially turned away. They claimed that they did not have enough seats, and that there was a bit of an overcrowding problem. However, I was accepted right away when they recieved my TAAS scores, and I was placed in a large "gifted and talented" classroom. On one hand, the students were learning material far beyond their age group and making very impressive grades. Where I was used to making straight A's, I was struggling to keep on the A-B honor roll. In that sense, Seele is ideal in terms of educational development. On the other hand, I had my first and only experiences of being bullied. As a new student, and being from modest means, I was a victim of teasing and I struggled to make friends. Its a quality school with high standards, but I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on the bullying situation.
