The staff allowed my ex to enroll my children in this school with zero documentation of his custody. I called and explained that he was not the primary parent; he did not have their birth certificates, and I sent them a copy of the custody documents and they still stonewalled me.

When I started working with my girls to continue their education with this school online, I was informed that they were being removed from the school after only two weeks of online school.

I was informed of this the first day after the massive snow storm when the school had several snow days. During this time, my youngest had completely caught up on her school work. I did not know however that my eldest was behind on her math and the teacher told me nothing until it was too late.

In my opinion, the school leadership knew that it was a legal liability for them to have enrolled my daughters with zero documentation; with the non-primary parent; opening themselves up for a lawsuit and they were covering their tracks by kicking out a six year old who was completely caught up on her work and a ten year old who was missing some math assignments.

My experience is 10 out of 10. All the staff here is amazing. I wouldn't write a review if i didn't truly feel this way. For any parents like me who research everything, i hope this helps. This school is very welcoming.

I have come from another city in Texas and have never felt this much encouragement and caring for each one of my kids.

Acheivement of all students of all levels is paramount in the efforts set forth by the staff of Memorial. Effort is made at a high level that provides a sense of comfort to those parents with children who may be struggling. Consistency with these efforts throughout the school year foster success in so many children.

Only by observation at this point, I have seen how bullying behavior is not tolerated in any way. It is addressed at the first sight and is thoroughly investigated for fairness and conclusion.

10 out of 10. Every level of staff is friendly, hard-working, creative, and it has provided a well-rounded and strong elementary experience for my children. The new teacher and leadership at the school was a good shift and it has paid off with a strong school!

I have had four children in the this school since it has been Memorial Elementary. (no experience with it when it was the intermediate school) My overall experience has been excellent. I have had two children that needed special attention and when my concerns as a parent were made known, the response was great! They showed concern, wisdom, and implemented plans with all staff involved to help my children succeed. This is a warm, welcoming, nurturing environment helping all children meet their full potential academically and socially. I love this school!!!!

The parents complaining about their ADHD children look to be placing the blame. I know my child at Memorial Elementary had a wonderful experience with the staff. The other posters here seem to be the same parent. Look closer to home, friends. The Special Education teachers at this school appear to be very dedicated and work with an extreme population day in and day out.
