Last year we learned that my daughter was having learning differences in Math. They assigned her a Math Coach who is phenomenal.

I've never dealt with this issue so I wouldn't know.

My daughter is a 4th grader at Camelot and has been here since Kinder. 4 out of her 5 teachers have been great. My daughter loves Camelot and that makes me happy.

This school is full of bullies and the teachers do nothing about it.

They do the least amount they can. They talk a good talk but nothing shows from it. Was told last year in Sept. that they will get my daughter tested for learning disabilities but it'll have to be after the holidays. They did nothing!! They don't communicate on why they never went through. They are constantly losing paperwork we (parents) hand walk it to them and fax it. I believe they go into her file and remove it another don't have to do anymore work then they have to. This is their mentality. I believe they want us out of that school because they are lazy and don't want to deal with special needs. I was told that I wouldn't want my daughter in special Ed because she isn't that bad. Well, she can't be around 20+kids, cause it's over stimulating. Too much going on when there is a auditorium size classroom.

There are tons of bullies in Camelot Elementary school. Only thing this school does about bullies is put them in ISS, once the bully gets released from ISS guess where they go??!! Back to the classroom where the bully has full range.

Where do I begin. I have heard from other students and my child that this 2nd grade teacher is mean. She does not speak proper English while teaching, my child would repeat the same poor words she would use and we are fighting against this because we are having to undo what the teacher is speaking around her students. We are now starting 2017/2018 school year and still never received my daughter's report card, it was never handed to us. Husband & I had a meeting on the last day of school with our daughter's 2nd grade teacher, the 2nd grade principal, special Ed teacher, one other one, this 2nd grade teacher brought handed a report card to my husband when my husband looks at the grades and said this isn't her report card. He gave it back to the teacher where she looks at the students name and said it's another student. Then she proceeds to tell us she will get the right report card for us. This is now the beginning of 2017/2018 school year and we still do not have the report card. Husband went to the school about 2 weeks before school will start (starts on August 28th) to ask for her report card. The woman told him it wasn't at the desk. I text this 2nd grade teacher telling her I need my daughter's report card, that this is unacceptable conduct.

How can the students have compassion & respect when the admin/teachers don't show it. My son who used to go to Camelot says the adults will cause around the students but when the students do it they get upset. Hypocrites!!
I understand teaching kids can be stressful but, they need to learn not to show it when talking to parents or their students.

A very poor school & teacher/Admin. Admin there are RUDE. I'm switching schools because of it, found a 5 star school.

There is nothing positive about this school. People make up the school, poorly trained people will = a bsd school.

My son had a wonderful kinder year and unfortunately that teach did not stay past that year, (She was too good for Camelot). Now, In 1st grade his awesome teacher has left after only 10 weeks :(... The office staff is rude and completely unknowlegable , rules change every few weeks They can not keep track of where the children are- 30 mins to p/u last friday! ReaLLY? I could tell them where he was! (they can't keep a decent knowledgeable employee in my experience). I've NEVER had a positive interaction with the most current staff. I feel so bad that my son has to there day after day- He has become quite distant in the last few weeks, CONSTANTLY LOOKING CONCERNED AND UNWILLING TO TALK ABOUT IT! That is NOT HIM AT ALL!- I can only think this has to do with with his new teacher and losing one he adored so quickly. Just last week He was been beat up on the bus with no repercussions for the child who hit, slapped, and choked him. I am moving OUT OF SA ASAP! I am only looking at schools that get an 8,9, or10... He deserves this! Before he started kinder I read the review and went to the school to ask the Principle why a 3? her response was because of the low income federal funding and behavioral problems... NOT what I want him to learn or grow up around. SO DISAPPOINTED in this school!!! OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER!

Posted: November 20, 2016

I've had a positive experience with the teachers, ut the office staff is a disgrace!

My son tells me no one ever checks to see if it has been done. therefor he does not want to do it.
