My kids love their teachers Davis and Elizalde and they're learning a lot of new things very easily! They are kind and patient. The only concern is that occasionally my son feels like the teachers don't see other kids being mean to him. My kids are excelling academically and they love and know many members of the school faculty and staff by name. We're very happy with our experience so far!

This is an amazing school and community. Top notch teachers and staff. My child attended Colonies North from Kinder-5th and we couldnt be happier with the progress he made, the teachers he had, or the friends he made.

When my over achiever was bored his teacher found work at a higher, yet relevant level, keeping him involved and engaged. When my under achiever would get behind, his teacher would make sure he had homework that would help him keep up and get a little ahead so distractions in class wouldnt throw him totally off track.

My two sons went from Kinder to 5th grade and every year they each had teachers who went above and beyond to connect with and engage my kids sense of responsibility AND wonder. I loved every one of them!

The diversity of this school has given my children the chance to meet and socialize with kids from over 40 other countries. My kids a much more worldly view of current affairs, they know kids from the places they hear about on the news. It has also developed a strong sense of empathy and gratitude in them I think they would never have gotten at another school.

We had a recent admin change that made me nervous but the new Principal and Vice Principal have worked hard to observe and make relevant changes in staff and processes that are helping parents stay informed and involved. I love it

My youngest son struggled through 3rd grade and every step of the way there were teachers and learning specialists to help him keep up while maintaining his dignity with respect and kindness. He finished the last two years on AB Honor Roll every grading period.

Unfortunately there were two instances where each of my children were victims of bullying and I think the teachers and admin handled the situation appropriately. Of course, I wish it had never happened but because of the way teachers and admin handled it, they were isolated incidences for each of my kids.

I cant say enough amazing things about this school and its community! They took me and my children in and made us their family. My children and I both made lifelong friends while there and learned not only academic lessons but life lessons here at CNE. I cried when my youngest graduated last year but I feel like I will always be welcomed and comfortable in the halls of CNE. Once s Cougar, always a Cougar!

Wonderful school! The academic standards are high, the school leadership is very responsive and visible to parents and students, and the teachers are top notch. There are lots of events throughout the year to encourage family participation. GT program is strong. Good behavior is rewarded---my kids love to tell me when they have earned 'cougar bucks'. The student body is very diverse with children from literally all over the world. Having moved from a very homogeneous school, I feel like being around children with so many different backgrounds has been a wonderful experience for my kids.

Colonies North Elementary is a wonderful school. The academics are well-above average, there is a wonderful cultural diversity and our son has grown in confidence and leadership skills. The Gifted and Talented program has enhanced his experience at Colonies North. The parent community is welcoming and involved in the life of the school. I highly recommend this school to parents looking for a top-notch public school education for their kids.

My son's teacher is the greatest. He is in fourth grade and she takes her time to help him when he needs it. I just love her.

We moved from out of state. My son attends 1st grade. I am very impressed with the leadership and teachers. Everyone is very friendly and well prepared. Pick up and drop off well organized. Offers a positive learning environment. Having been a teacher, I am very happy my child attends this school.

My daughters have attended Colonies North for two years after going to a Christian school. This school has an extremely diverse student body. The children are very bright and outgoing. The administrative staff is friendly and courteous. The teachers are energetic and great at motivating the children. The principal is hard-working, very professional and great at her job. We couldn't be happier.

My daughter has attended this school for 2 years and it has not been ideal. Communication between teachers and parents is very poor. They need better organizational skills in terms of distributing information and planning school events. Many parents are disappointed with the principals demeanor and overall attitude toward the students and parents (I've heard complaints numerous times). The administration refused to listen to my view as a parent concerning what was best for my child and as a result, my child has to repeat a grade. Very disappointing. I have decided to pull my child out of this school and move to another district.
