Colby Glass Elementary is an incredible school, and the reason we chose to buy our house in this area of San Antonio. We are a military family, recently moving to San Antonio over a year ago, which has resulted in my son having attended 3 different elementary schools. Colby Glass has been by far the best elementary school he has attended, even exceeding my high expectations. He has had guidance support as a new student, is being taught at an advanced level for his age, and has thrived socially by attending all of the wonderful events the school has organized. Choosing to settle down in this school district has been the greatest blessing, for both my son at Glass and my daughter at Pat Neff (special shout out to the Neff MS Band, which has nurtured my daughter into being a brilliant trumpet player). If given a choice between any schools in area, I would choose Glass every time. Also, they are almost finished with the construction of a new gymnasium, which will only add to brilliance of this school!

The teacher doesn't let us know when the homework is due and if they have homework.

I would rate a 2. So far, i have been given all the information so my son can access the meetings. It's student portal is not working and the teacher makes it seem like I'm a mind reader.

I went to Colby Glass Pre-k to 5th grade and I loved it. The teachers, staff, office people were all great. And the events like field day and officers in blue wer great. So was the magic show that they put on every year. I miss the school and always go back to visit with my little brothers and sisters when ever I can.
