So far, the teachers and staff seem to be really engaged. They have a lot of fun events, but seem to be a little short staffed. I wish more folks wanted to be teachers. In any case, our daughter loves her class and her teacher. Communication is great.

We love the teachers and staff here at Galm. We have been here for 4 years and feel very welcomed here. They know the kiddos by name and really are trying to provide a good sense of community. Recently, they are getting much better at communication which was the only issue we had in the past here.

My son's teacher sends homework everday. It is productive and has helped my son progress on his reading and math skills.

From the Principal to the teachers, they put the children first.

It is a school that needs more recognition. My son attended a previous school and was told he needed to be retained. However, after transferring to Galm, he has flourished into a all A student. The teachers here, love their job and their students. My son is happier than ever. He even tells me he wish school was longer. Haha

Front Office Staff Is RUDE, They act as if you are bothering them every time you enter the office

The front office staff is Horrible they gossip about Parents and Teachers. If we want to stop bullying in schools we must lead by example.

Best. School. Ever. Every single one of the teachers and staff are exceptional and outstanding. This is an extremely warm environment, where teachers, students and parents are deeply involved. There are tons of events throughout the year. Great and energetic PTA. It's like having a small town school in the 7th largest city in the country. One of my kids has a peanut allergy - the school has been magnificent in managing this situation. I add this just for any parents who also deal with these sorts of things, we know how difficult it is to get that answer when searching for a school. So first hand review, it's been an exceptional experience for us in that regard, and in every other way.

We went to this school for one year and I couldn't take much more. My daughter was in 3rd grade there and we couldn't wait to get her out. The parking lot is chaotic every afternoon unless you get there 30-40 minutes early and my daughter had to go to the principals office on numerous occassions because of other students disrupting the class, bullying etc... I was hardly ever notified until my daughter told me she had to go. We are a military family and been to three other schools in different states besides this one and my daughter has never had to go to the office for anything. We have since made the sacrifice to put our children in private school and absolutely love it. She has since not had any issues.

I really can't say enough good things about this school! I wish this school would be recognized as a leadership school so that it could teach other schools how they're supposed to be. I've had two kids go to this school. My son has a serious learning and motor coordination disability that makes it difficult for him to interact with other kids. The teachers have not only helped accomodate him but they have been proactive in spreading information about his disability to others and went so far as to educate themselves about his disability. They all know my son by name and we never go to a school function that he doesn't run up to the principal and give him a big hug. This school should be commended for their exemplary performance. When they say they have a zero tolerance for bullying they mean it. The few times my son was bullied, the administration was quick to resolve the matter and called me to report what was done about it the same day. My son loves this school and I wish he could continue to go to Galm throughout the rest of his school years. The special education teachers are priceless as is his homeroom teacher. They have provided an environment that he has thrived in!
