This staff member Sarah lowery has zero interest and concern for the students. My child had profane writing on their car and her response was to not do anything to avoid retaliation. And then my child had her car perked in the wrong spot and she openly told me that she called to put a boot on her car. My child is in athletics and was leaving on the bus so she would not get back till after 9 and then stuck with no car cause of this. This lady is very insensitive. She will discriminate against you if she does not like you so beware!

This place is absolutely disgusting. Teachers with God complexes, administration that makes decisions without the students best interest in mind, and students that have an incredibly high level of distractions to deal with, so they have no focus or drive.

Not a supportive environment at all. Good ol boy club, condescending attitude by administration, and teachers get away with terrible treatment of students. No counseling services or support for kids who are struggling with personal issues. Great example of letting kids fall through the cracks if they are not in the top percentage or bottom percentage. Maybe the school is too big so the administration cant keep up. My suggestion is to hire in an administration who can create a better culture that is inclusive of all.not just those who will win him brownie points.

All you parents who are looking for schools that are welcoming to on-campus learners, please stay away from Round Rock ISD. I have lived here my whole life, have 2 children at Round Rock HS and I am so disappointed with school leadership this year. The teachers and staff are amazing but even though businesses are safely opening all around us, our school leaders are not interested in having kids back on campus for some reason. They claim it's for safety reasons but kids, parents, and school staff can go to Kalahari Resorts a few miles away and play in a crowded pool and arcade safely (we are now at 75% capacity in your county) but apparently district leaders are not comfortable having more than 25% of kids on campus. This makes no sense. School board members are publicly stating they are not comfortable welcoming students back for on campus instruction but actively advocate for in-person activities like basketball, theatre and band. We are leaving the district if this inequity between on campus athletics/fine arts and academic instruction does not change by May. If you are looking for a district that is welcoming to on-campus learners, look somewhere else. They only care about sports and fine arts at this point in time. The cheating at the secondary level in the virtual learning environment is out of control, as well. I have never seen this much academic dishonesty in my life or my career. There is no integrity in the grading system right now so on-campus kids are competing for GPA and ranking with kids who cheat everyday. I can't believe how far this district has fallen in the last 5 years. Hopefully we find a strong new superintendent to lead us out of this mess.

RRHS is a great learning environment for my student. The academics are rigorous, sure, but they are on par with pushing the students to perform. Lots of clubs. Plenty of diversity. The teachers are phenomenal. They've hired an amazing new engineering teacher with industry experience. They keep the kids motivated and learning even in this tough environment. We appreciate the lengths that the administration has gone to have equity across the district and across RRHS. Go Dragons!

The school is amazingly run well considering the size. Crazy amount of clubs and sports for students to join. Students are pushed hard academically and if they don't pass an exam they can retake it for a max score of 70. The later helps students relearn the material and not fall too far behind.

Horrible. As a parent, I strongly suggest if you have a child who has a special needs, no matter how minor, go somewhere else...another isd entirely. RRISD is a joke! A bunch of useless asshats. RRHS amin. the AP, the councelors, they all talk a good game, actions speak louder than words...they only have words. I found the teachers I dealt with to be very helpful and kind. The principal seems to have no idea what is going on with the admin. staff, or at least he pretends not to. Schools need to be rated on more than test scores, reveal the truth about the school system, it's all smoke and mirrors.
I would rate stars if I could.

I go here and personally the school is actual hell. The food is bad, the teachers are terrible, the dress code is ridiculous, APs are always up students asses about what they're doing, and the policies ARE RIDICULOUS. Don't go to RRHS or have your child attend, they will have a terrible experience, although the friends you make are wonderful, as an environment as a whole the school is terrible. 2/10

Perhaps it's any large school, but Round Rock has something, some PLACE for every student. Every interest has a group or organization. With so many groups, there are also an exceptional amount of leadership opportunities. In our experience, the teaching staff have been effective and accessible. Excellent campus.

My son is getting a good education and enjoys his classes. The Texas Education Agency rated this school as a 93 out of 100 for student achievement (the target score was 60!). I feel good about sending my child to this school.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at Round Rock High School. She is now in the college of her choice (and turned down several top notch schools). The support she was given and the leadership lessons she learned at RRHS will continue to prepare her for the future. The only negative experience was when her car was keyed in the parking lot but that was done by rival punks from Stony Point on the day of the big football game.

If you have a choice don't send your child to Round Rock High School the teachers and staff are trivial and less mature than the students.

I think Round Rock HS is getting better in recent years. Lots of talent students go to this high school, also RRISD has been expanding campus too. Also this school doesn't make students too stressful.
