The leadership at the school fails to be a model of integrity and respect which leaves the students to feel neglected.

The principal at Davis has neglected the students at Davis. Cussed at the faculty in meetings, gave faulty drills, the safety of the school is concerning especially for the students and the teachers, the principal has talked about other teachers behind their back and called students names behind closed doors, she has wrongly rated teachers and forced teachers to resign and even made other teachers relocate. The students need consistency along with leadership and the principal fails to provide that.

The teachers do effectively provide lessons that help learning differences.

There have been riots on the school campus due to race and ethnicity. The principal failed to provide intervention for these students and instead allowed arrests. The principal has bullied the staff which in turn represents the overall culture of Davis Middle School.

The teachers at Davis Middle School truly care about their students and make sure that there is every opportunity for growth.

Being a former teacher at Davis there have been so many experiences that has caused most of the teachers who genuinely care about the students' well being to be talked badly about, treated unfairly, forced to resign, or pushed to find other employment. It was never the students but the lack of leadership and support provided by the administration.

My niece attending this school and it does have a bad reputation, but like any child it all comes down to discipline. My niece passed with straight A's and received very good feedback from all teachers. I will admit that this school has an eclectic group of students... but the teachers are great. It's just a shame that "middle school" students are just out of control...but I don't blame the school... I blame the students and their parents for their neglect to discipline their children. My niece did very good here.
