I went to this school many years ago, it was a great school then and now. One of my good friends that also was a former student is now a teacher there. If I still lived in San Antonio I would definitely send my girl to this school. I know they would be happy, safe and get lots of love and support from teachers and staff, as well as a wonderful educational experience.

I attended Herff Elementary in the 1st and 2nd grades. I remember even at that age how kind and helpful the teachers were. It was a great school. There was a hardware store across the street. It had a candy case. I'd love going there to look at the candy and all of the hardware items they had. It was called People's Hardware. There was a restroom in each class behind the teachers desk. I would hold off going because I was shy and didn't want to face the class as I walked out of the restroom. My teachers name was Mrs Coker. A fine young lady at that time. Sorry for going on but I hear it remains a great school for the kids even today.

This school was already good but they got a new principle and its even better. Many safety mesures have been put in place and I feel safe sending my kids there. You always see the principle every morning letting the kids in and there's lots of things parents can do to volunteer here.

There are alot of after school programs for the children. The programs are all voluntary and the money would help the school.

This a great school. Students whose primary language at home is English have the opportunity to learn Spanish starting in Kinder. The students enrolled in the Two-way Immersion program earn much higher scores on standardized test. If your looking to enrich your child education this is the place to be.

I love my school because it is a place where students and teachers are working together to make a change for the future.
