As a former student from a couple of years ago, I would like to say that fights happen, in my opinion, because of lack of discipline at home. The only way the school will know if there is going to be a fight is if someone announces it. And what is the likeliness of a kid doing so? As for the drugs in the school you cant expect to not have any considering we are in SEGUIN. And many of the kids that go there unfortunately live in a place where they are exposed to drugs. If we want to make the schools a better place it has to start at home and work outward to the community. It takes a village to raise a child but without the help of the caregiver it creates many challenges. To me the teachers are great don't get me wrong there are maybe one or two "bad" ones but there always is anywhere you go. And these teachers deal with many kids and sometimes parents. The problem lies at time with the parents that go up to the schools and try to defend their "innocent" child without listening to both sides. As for the bullying that should be reported immediately if the school doesn't do something go the the administration or central offices. Bullying is not something that should be tolerated.

After having 3 kids attend this school, by the time my 3rd child made over there I was very disappointed with the school, The teachers and staff and administration. Their lack of concerns of our children education as well as their safety, yes it all depend s on whom your parents are before they attempt to fix the problem, their concerns are not about education but the money they get from our government. My child was harassed and bullied but did the school do anything ? no they turned their heads and looked the other way. There drugs in our schools and yes our administration has no control due to the staff lack of concerns with our children safety. There are more fights in this school then in the past year, I see more and more kids either being home schooled or parents going as far as moving to other school districts to maintain their kids education and safety.

I have been extremely disappointed in a certain teacher who curses in class. She chooses her favorites and makes it a point to put down those with whom she has an issue or just chooses to dislike. This is done in the classroom in front of the class. I do not think a teacher should curse in class and expect student to respect her. I also think teachers should act more mature than their students and never,ever make fun of or be cruel to them. This is something that is known by the administration. Don't appologize for her, we do not want her influence on our students. Wake up!
