The special needs teacher pushes her political views on her students. Speaking negative of members of government. Political views of teachers don't belong in the classroom.
This schools 8th grade graduation was horrible. The sound system was messed up and you couldn't understand the speaker. Each child was rushed as their name was called they didn't even get their diploma in their hand and they already called the next child's name. Come on you can do better and let the graduate have his earned time to receive his diploma. The worst graduation I have ever been to. I really felt bad for all the kids it was a shame

They always suspend my daughter for extremely dumb reasons and they just suspended her again today. For what reason may you ask? For defending herself from a little boy body shaming her and she always gets in trouble because she ALWAYS defends herself and protects others she is very caring and i didn't know till now that she is starving herself to try and loose weight! No kid should feel this way !! and she had a conversation with me telling me she feels like nobody wants her there and that really hurts my feelings cause how they are making my daughter feel and I have relized this too that whenever there is a special thing going on at school they suspend my daughter for unreasonable reasons like today is a dance happening after school and she HAS too be in it,it is apart of her grade for Dance class and they suspended her she was so happy for the dance she has been talking about it since her last dance which they also suspended her for that dance too and that was a week before thanksgiving!!! Now she is here crying upset and wants to move schools cause she feels unwanted by the school,once she came home for a whole week straight crying everyday from getting in trouble they also didn't want to tell her the reason they were sending her home all that week .But I am moving my daughter's schools and Im going to make sure she is okay and keep checking up on her. Don't put your kids in this school it will probably be the worst decision to make for your child's education!.

Great school! My kids have come along way frm learning respecting and descipline! Awesome school, great teachers!

Good School Good Teachers and great focus, great band, love the efforts of the teacher to ensure that they reach every child at there level. Mr Vega is a great principal.

Alan B Shepard is a great school and I would highly reccomend the school to any fellow parent, The principal, Mr. Vega, teachers, nurse, councelor, and entire staff are awesome. I couldn't be happier with this school. They have great incentives for the children to keep up attendance and maintain honor roll. There are always many field trips and things going on at the school. The teachers are the best around. They really care about the students and their well being. My son was always an AB student, more B's than A's and since entering this school he now has made all A's and only 1 B every six weeks. As long as the parents show involement, I believe the parent along with the teachers can obtain any goal for your child. My son has exceeded my farthest expectations and I owe it all to this wonderful school. Entering middle school is a very rough and difficult time and they have made this year a great transition and have set him along the right path. Way to go and keep up the good work.
