The teachers are great. A lot of activities for the kids to be involved in. A lot of career prep opportunities for the students.

Its a good school and it is very fun to be here. Except one thing and it bothers me a lot. Most YouTube videos are blocked. I understand but I also don't understand. I know we might watch something you don't agree with or don't wanna hear. But we have headphones and you have Go Guardian. What can we reasonably watch that you haven't seen before. It's not like we are gonna search up "how to make a pipebomb (not clickbait)." I'm just saying, more freedom more responsibility and need for self-control. You can teach these kids this. Besides. we already have phones. Even if you don't do it were already doing it. So please, just unblock youtube videos for everyone's sake.

Great atmosphere and teachers who dedicate themselves 100%. There has been students that continue on to MIT and UT who create wonderful careers for themselves. Students get out of the school what they put into it

In my opinion southwest high school is not a good school your children should attend . There is always rats running around in classrooms, the lunch Is disgusting , most of the food for breakfast and lunch is rotten. The fruit is rotten and the milk nd juice is really expired. During lunch really over expired snacks are sold. I mainly don't appreciate the teachers getting upset at us students for supposedly wearing "inappropriate clothes" that are appropriate. I also don't like that afterschool when it's time to go home, students who have to ride buses either wait in the blistering heat or during winter have to wait a long time in the freezing cold. I really hate this school don't let your children attend it .
