My children have gone to almost every elementary within a 5 mile radius of Sky Harbor. This is the first school theyve loved to go to school to every single day. They havent been bullied like they have at every other school. They have a ton of family engagement events and lots of clubs for the kids to partake in. The community is so strong in this school and I absolutely love it. I transfer my kids yearly from their home campus to this campus. I cant say enough about the teachers at this school. Theyre so great with the kids and meeting them where they are daily. Even the principal is on the ground and knows the students. Last year my daughters teacher taught economics by selling crafts to students, the community and parents. They used the profits to buy the entire class snow cones on field day so no student was left out. The special needs and ARDs are respected and they keep you updated with emails and phone calls regularly. I havent experienced that with other schools either.

My daughter's first day of school she broke her arm Durning pe and no body called, no body sent her to the nurse, all they did was give her a bag of ice, she told her teacher that she was in pain and her teacher gave her a wet paper towel and told her the coach already gave her ice, she came home holding her arm which was swollen, she went the whole day in pain with a broken arm, she was in a cast for a couple months

This is a great school, and the teachers CARE about my children. They dedicate many hours planning for student success. There are great clubs here including Drama, Robotics, AAA Academics, Dolphin Buddies and Student Council. I really wonder about people who give this school a 1 or 2 star rating and leave no comments...probably upset that teachers want them to be active participants in their children's learning.
