This school is horrible. The staff can be rude. All the people complain about ridiculous stuff. I cant wait for the year to be over and move to a better, nicer school.

No elementary school should be run this way and keep the kids from doing homework. Both of our students are struggling because they transferred to Killeen ISD and theyre not used to doing homework. The school has extremely low test scores. Just look it up.

I don't have a single good thing to say about anyone here. My kids are bullied by students AND teachers

They teach my child that telling the truth and being honest minimizes the severity of the consequences when bad choices are made.

Jefferson has the best, most caring staff. My son went there in K and then the districts were rearranged and we were forced to attend another school. We moved stictly so that he could be back within the perimeter of Jefferson's school district! Thank you to all the great teachers! He is si excited to

I love this school, the staff, and am glad my child attends school here. Jefferson is TISD's best kept secret/hidden gem.

I have four children who have all attended and still attend Jefferson Elementary. Jefferson is a wonderful school. There are some teachers that have been there for 15+ years and there are also new teachers. In my experiences I have always received the help that I needed as a parent to help my children succeed. I do have to say that there are teachers who have made a difference and wonderful impact on my children's lives. You have to have a passion for teaching and these teachers do have this! Thank you Jefferson teachers, staff and cafeteria staff for all your efforts. You a really appreciated!

I live in the neighborhood near Jefferson and I absolutely love the school! Even though I do not have school aged children, I have visited the campus several times. The feeling you get when you enter the building is very warm and inviting. The staff welcomes you with smiles and greetings. The students you pass in the halls greet you as well. You can feel the learning vibe as you walk throughout the building. The Animal Science Center is one of my favorite places to visit on campus. It's so exciting to see the kids so actively involved with the animals. I wish I had an elementary aged child so he/she could attend Jefferson.

Things didn't go so well the 1st week and I was worried about that but I requested a different teacher and after that everything went smoothly. She had a wonderful school year, she was in the talent show, we went to movie night, she was a star student, gifted and talented, super reader. My daughter is a talker and likes to brag and Mrs. Malmin would give her time to get in front of the class and say what she wanted to say. She had a great relationship with her. Mrs. Maxwell the 3rd/4th gd teacher received a golden apple award, she started animal science there and was also in charge of the talent show, very nice lady. They have a wonderful, friendly principal, all the teachers greet you. I couldn't have asked for a better school year. Truly sad about relocating to Houston. I definitely recommend sending your child here.
