My daughter has been at this school for the past 5 years. She has grown both academically and socially. The teachers really care about the kids. All of my daughterÂ’s teachers have gone above and beyond. The ladies in the front office are welcoming and the principal really listens and cares. I definitely recommend this school!

THIS IS A HORRIBLE SCHOOL! THE TEACHERS HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THE CHILDREN. THE STAFF HAS ATTITUDES AS WORSE AS THE CHILDREN THAT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. WHILE MY CHILD ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL HE DID NOT ACHIEVE IN ANY SUBJECT. HE NEVER RECIEVED ANY TUTORING OR 504 SERVICES AS THEY WHERE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO DO SO. THERE ARE TEACHERS THERE THAT TALKS ABOUT HOW SHE DISCIPLINES HER OWN CHILDREN AT HOME IN FRONT OF THE STUDENTS.!! (VERY INAPPROPIATE)!! THE TEACHERS WILL ARGUE WITH YOU AND THE CHILDREN.
BULLYING IS A BIG PROBLEM IN THIS SCHOOL. THEY ALLOW OTHERS TO BULLY AND DON'T ALLOW THE OTHER PARTY TO DEFEND THEIR SELF, IF THEY DO THE KID GETS SUSPENDED OR PUT INTO THE PRINCIPAL OFFICE FOR THE DAY AND MADE OUT TO BE THEIR FAULT. EVEN IF YOU COMPLAIN TO THE PRINCIPAL ALL SHE WILL SAY IS I'M SORRY. ALOT OF THE CHILDREN COMPLAIN ABOUT GOING TO THE SCHOOL AND ALOT OF CHILDREN COMPLAIN HOW THEY ARE NEVER HEARD OUT WHEN IT COMES TO TROUBLE. I HAVE EXPERIENCED A CHILD HOLLERING AS LOUD AS SHE COULD BECAUSE THE KIDS WERE CALLING HER BAD NAMES AND HURTING HER FEELINGS AND NO ONE BELIEVED HER BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T SEE OR HEAR WHAT THE OTHER'S WHERE SAYING. KIDS DO THINGS SECRETLY SO IT WILL BE ALOT THAT WILL BE MISSED BY TEACHERS. THE PEOPLE IN THE SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH UNDERSTANDING AND CARING PEOPLE WHO ARE WANTING THE CHILDREN TO STRIVE.

While I loved the staff and my kids teacher. They need a better situation in how to handle bullying. My daughter and son were in 1st grade together and my daughter constantly was bullied for being white. My son was always getting shoved by the fourth graders, and he is legally BLIND here. I was so fed up with my daughter coming home crying and my son coming home with bruises that I couldn't take anymore. We wound up homeschooling. Since then my kids are happier. The staff is wonderful, and I wish my kids weren't bullied so bad. If not I would have kept th in the school.

Mrs. Kelley was great with my son, she was very patient and involved with with him. I liked the fact that she would teach her students to love and respect each other. We need more teachers like Mrs. Kelley, one's who truly care for their students. I had to take my son off the bus because other kids were making him say very inappropriate things and teasing him. Dropping my son off in the morning went smoothly but picking him up was a hassle due to unorganized pick up plans.

This is the best school EVER!!!! I have two students here and they both get the best and most loving care ever! The environment is safe, cheerful and family oriented. The teaching is exceptional and I couldn't ask for anything better!

I am very disappointed. We had bad experiences with other students hitting my child. My daughter had an accident in her pants, she had been ill and I was upset that my daughter stayed that way for hours. Every time the teacher was questioned about anything, she blamed my daughter for being shy and not speaking up instead of having compassion for her. She never apologized. When these incidents were brought to the attention to the administrator while the teacher was present, the teacher insisted again that it was due to my daughter's shyness. We then asked the Principal to attend meetings with the teacher and she was also going to be more involved with my daughter. We told her that she didn't live up to her promises and she later apologized. I've been in friendlier schools where I feel children are first!
