Poor leadership shows in the poor sportsmanship on their sports teams.

There is a new superintendent and a new secondary principal at Bartlett, and they work with the elementary principal (who is awesome) and the dean and the district staff to make so many new and exciting things happen. There's also a new athletic director, band director, and elementary music teacher who all have big plans for the students, and who know how to make things really happen. The teachers care and are passionate, and the energy is really growing. You can see the difference in the kids' learning experiences and their attitudes and their own self-expectations. They also keep health and safety at the forefront, so students and teachers feel safe. And, the staff truly care about families and the community - you don't always see that in other districts. The changes over the past couple of years are really transforming Bartlett and it's exciting to see and a great place for students and families!

This school district has fantastic tenured teachers, and fantastic tenured administration. With a 12:1 student to teacher ratio and with only 400 students district-wide, Bartlett ISD is able to offer the best education possible for its students and families. In Bartlett each child K-12 has a Chromebook laptop making us a true 1 to 1 campus. Additionally, Bartlett ISD is truly a family environment, where students are involved in extracurricular activities, are challenged academically, and where each child has an educational plan just for them. My two sons go to school there and they love it! They say this is the best school they have ever attended. As a parent I am so happy. Thank you Bartlett ISD!

Alot of people have a bad view of Bartlett, however in the past couple of years the academics has soared and the athletic programs have increased. They have approved a new softball field for the school and have built a new weightroom for the girls program. The administration is motivated to get the school district to an elite school.
