Only giving two stars because the teachers are wonderful but unfortunately the principal is terrible! Of the two years we've been there I've only seen her come out of her office maybe 5 times. The moral of the parents there is so low. Trying to get anyone to volunteer or donate is close to impossible because they feel they already pay so much throughout the year why do they need to pay more? Events are overpriced there and darn near impossible to afford. They dont even have a working kitchen for the children to eat home cooked nutritious meals so be prepared for them to eat nasty prepackaged meals (meals on wheels). The school needs change and the principal could care less about anything. They need to replace her with someone who actually knows what they're doing and some compassion for the children.

Many years ago we started a journey at St Leo the Great and had no idea what direction that path would take us. Two years ago unforeseeable circumstances had me switch my children to another school. Now as my oldest is entering High School, he was accepted to Central Catholic and St. Anthony's High School, he is pursuing his next chapter at Central Catholic. I want to thank Mrs. Johnson and the school in general for getting us to where we needed to be to start this new chapter in our lives. While things weren't always easy, it was always with the guidance of the Lord. Again, thank you!!!

All this school cares about is YOUR MONEY and not your childs education ! Don't forget to do your sevice hours cuz they will poke your eyes with $25 for each hour you are lacking. If you dont sell your raffel tickets, congratulations you just bought them !

This school is a well kept inner city secret. Small class sizes, good teacher ratios, dedicated staff and administration as well as strong academic expectations. The atmosphere is small and family like, very protective of their children. Do not come here if you are not prepared to become involved in school activites and fundraisers. The only down fall is the current lack extra curricular activites. Pep Squad and atheletics are not for everyone.

WE have three children at this school. There has not been a single instance in 4 years since we enrolled our first child there that we have had a single doubt as to whether we made the right choice. We love the school and our children are learning not only the core subjects but also about our faith in a manner consistent with our beliefs and which also shows itself in how they carry themselves outside of the school setting. Great place to have your child or children obtain an education in a safe environment.
