I cant express enough how grateful I am for our experience at RCBA Christian school. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that each child is treated with genuine love and care. The teachers and staff embrace Christian values in every aspect of learning, creating an environment where faith and education harmoniously intertwine.
What we truly love is the intimate atmosphere of the school. The smaller class sizes mean that our children are receiving a personalized education, tailored to their unique needs and interests. In contrast to larger schools that may focus on flashy perks, this school prioritizes what really matters, nurturing individual growth and fostering a deep love for learning.
The academic staff is something truly special. They are not only highly trained and qualified but also incredibly passionate about their roles. Their love for teaching and commitment to our childrens development shines through in every lesson. Its refreshing to see educators who pour their hearts into fostering both academic and spiritual growth.
For us, being a part of the RCBA Christian school community feels like joining a close-knit family. We've had the joy of contributing to building and enhancing the school, making it an even better place for our children. Its empowering to attend a Christian school that stands out so remarkably, and we feel blessed to be part of such a loving and embracing community.
10 out of 10!

Before last year, the teachers had more opportunities to take the time to help students learn what they needed to learn to succeed. Now they just don't have the time or energy.

Some nights homework takes over 3 hours! This is a huge problem when you are involved in sports or other after school activities.

There seems to be preferential treatment to students whose parents attend the church, even though they do not follow the rules.

This school used to be about community and discipleship of the students. Now the principal focuses on no talking in classes and looking good to the public. He is rude to students and teachers and can be very disrespectful. Most of the teachers are caring, but they are being over-stressed by the amount of work the principal is giving them.

The school used to be on an A/B schedule, and the homework was very resonable and if you had one study hall you could either get all your work done, or have minimal work left to do. Sometimes at the end of the class once everything that needed to be covered was you may have 10 minutes to work on homework. This was an amazing way to set up the school. The school has now gone to a weird 6 class a day schedule and it makes everything very complicated and the home work that you are given could take all night to finish.

DO NOT GO HERE!I started this school in my 8th grade, when I shadowed there in 7th it was very different. You could tell that people cared and that the supplies were limited. But things went downhill from there. With a new principal everything changed, and for the worse. The students they started letting in were not actually christians as they were supposed to be, bringing bad people and drugs into the school. The school has done nothing about it and the administration does know about the problems. The "Chapel" that starts our day everyday is not in fact Chapel it is simply were our principal stands infront of us and says the things that might normally be said over an intercom system in a normal sized school. Also I would like to point out that most of these reviews have been by parents and they do not truely understand the school like the students do, and the school is not actually like the parents think. Also I think that it is HIGHLY suspicious that alot of the reviews were all written on the same day or close to it.I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!

At my school, we do life!!! We are a community of about 130 students. As teachers, we have the opportunity to know EVERY student from Pre-K to Seniors. You see that growth in relationships within the students themselves throughout ALL grade Levels. It is an amazing atmosphere that the Holy Spirit has our school in!!!!

RCBA is a great place for children to grow academically and spiritually. The administration, staff and faculty are excellent examples of how to live a Godly life. The atmosphere and attitude on campus helps the children learn about the Love of God and how to live out their faith at school and in real life.

This school is very well organized. The academics are well on top. I brought my daughter from other school and this school was ahead on reading. Your students will come out reading in kinder and reading chapter books by late first grade. The teachers are very involved in kids academics and if parents have questions, they are available to assist. The students grow spiritually and academically. Everyone is so loving with open arms. We are a family here. The teachers make an impact in the students life. I'm very glad I read the reviews from greatschools.com that helped us find this school.

This school is full of loving and devoted staff, who will do anything that they can for their students and each other. They love their job and the children that they get to help both academically as well as spiritually. They really do care.

If you think you know RCBA from years past, you might be surprised to find that much has changed in recent times. Most of the teachers here now are new and EXCELLENT! My daughter's elementary school teachers have been so wonderful! For middle and high school, new math, science, and English teachers for every grade have set the bar high for academic standards at RCBA, while fostering a loving environment that honors God with Biblical integration in all subjects. I am now teaching at RCBA also, and I have been overwhelmingly impressed with the dedication the staff here have to improving the school and taking such good care of our kids, mentoring and teaching beyond the curriculum. Our principle is very involved and supportive, a true leader. I am very excited to be a part of a new phase at this school - we will be officially accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International in May 2014. Students graduating from RCBA in coming years will be well prepared for real life after high school, not just for college.

They have excellent teachers in a very Christian environment. Their tuition fees are very competitive.

This school has been an answered prayer. We started praying for a school for our then PreK student. who would enter Kindergarten 6 months later. We visited RCBA during our search and knew this would be a perfect match. We like that the older grades take time to read and mentor the younger grades. I'm glad the school has weekly chapel and daily morning prayer. The uniforms are wonderful and very easy to order. This school is wonderful and we look forward to our son being a Soldier for a very long time.

What a blessing to teach at a school were you can openly pray with and for your students. I love that my students pray for me and my family and feel comfortable sharing their faith with each other and others. They are awesome students who like to be challenged and represent the love of Christ.

My son has benefitted immensely from the small classrooms and faith based curriculum. I can go to work and feel that he is receiving a great education in a loving and safe environment. I highly recommend this school for anyone with children grades pre-k 3 through 12th.

My school is one of the closest communities I have ever been a part of. The kindergartners know the seniors, the middle schoolers take time out to help with the elementary kids and everyone knows each other. The teachers are intimately aware of the goings on, whether in the classroom or out of it, and are in the perfect position to intervene and mentor. The students love their teachers and consider them extended family. The teaching is progressive, yet still remains truthful to the Christian methodology of teaching. The school is constantly looking for ways to serve the students better, whether that is differentiating, offering advanced or remedial classes, or working with other teachers to integrate subject matter. Smiling faces and dancing feet characterise the students who go here. I couldn't imagine my child anywhere else. He tells me constantly that he is thankful, every day, that we chose to send him here.

A true gift from God was given to our family when we found River City Believers Academy. I remember the day I met Shane Land And we toured the school. The next gift that was given was enrolling and after our first year, I would urge and recommend this beautiful environment to all children and their families. The staff, teachers, parents, all of it is so comforting to know this is where my child Tanner , my love spends his days. Not only are academics being taught , his character is too!. Both play critical parts of how our Father God wants us to live and be. This school on a daily basis teaches, practices, and continually encourages the importance of "real people" and "real life"! Don't walk alone , walk with God!! River City Believers Academy is truly "heaven on earth"!!!!

RCBA is a blessing to our family and I am so thankful God led us there. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help. They truly have a heart for each child and the office staff knows each child by name! The teacher create a safe, fun yet challenging classroom. I love that the teachers are praying for my children and supporting the values we teach at home. RCBA is following God's will!

I am a teacher at RCBA and I love how many of the students show the likeness of Christ. They accept and encourage new students and quickly accept them into the "RCBA Family". What a blessing it is to work with such amazing students! The school is the student body!!!

We love this school. Originally we started one of our children here after they were having issues at their old school. After about two months, we were blown away at the difference between RCBA and the former Christian school. Our child blossomed as edification of the individual is celebrated here. They don't try to shove every kid into a "go along to get along box" but instead, teaches them how to use their God given personal traits to the fullest of their abilities. The classes are small. The teachers care and get to know every child. We had our other child shadow in his junior year. Most kids would want to stay at the school they had gone to since K4, but after spending a day here, we asked what his thoughts were. He said "I forgot". When we inquired what that met he said " I forgot that people could be nice and mean it". He also now attends RCBA. Great school and a true blessing!

I have been teaching at the school for 8 years. I have watched students grow in the truth and love of Christ. What greater reward can a teacher ask for.

This school has small classes and really works with individual students the way larger schools cannot

I have a daughter in first grade at this school. I am very pleased with the education she is getting, but more happy about the way she has grown to love God while attending here. She has an amazing teacher, she has made wonderful friends and she now loves going to school. Her class is small, they are like a family instead of a classmates. This is how education should be.

What I love about this school is the heart of their teachers. They will put a lesson on pause, when a teachable moment arises for character development, but in the end they do not allow academics to suffer.
