The curriculum here encourages parents to participate in what their child is learning. There are a few projects that involve parents but minimal homework math, reading, and spelling.

The counselor has developed a weekly and monthly award system to promote positive helping strong students who focus on being good citizens.

It has been my expirence that everything flows from the top down. The Superintendent down to the aides here work well together to create a positive functional learning environment for my children.

My children were a part of the special education program here and they were met with a great small group environment to help them learn. They worked with not only the general education teachers but the SE teacher and aides that provide help too.

They are proactively promoting good citizenship programs and also employ a number of discipline techniques to direct poor behavior in a more positive caring way.

Get some training!!! All kids are different and learn in different ways. Stop treating them like they are in the military.

The kindergarten teacher we had knew that homework at this age was ridiculous.

The principle is very off putting and unapproachable. The teachers do not work with you if your child is having a hard time. They place blame on child and parents, instead of trying different techniques to help the child. They take away recess as a punishment!!! . All of the teachers seem rude and annoyed by the students. This school needs some serious training on how to teach kids with sensory issues or adhd.
